Polk Kitsune (12:16:48 AM): Melissa laid on the ground, her shallow breath coming up as she slipped into unconsciousness.
Polk Kitsune (12:17:37 AM): "Well well well... You did better than I thought."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:17:43 AM): Ashley let out a sigh as she walked across to the field, a frown on her face.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:17:57 AM): She then immediately looks back up at the sound of another voice. "!?"
Polk Kitsune (12:19:57 AM): "Heheheheeeee~ I must admit..." The darkness started to slip around, and slither out, all toward a single point. "I'm impressed."
Polk Kitsune (12:21:28 AM): "But then again, the girl always was the weaker of the two." Meso muttered as the last of the darkness slipped right into him, as if taking a long, deep breath.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:24:00 AM): Ashley looked up at Meso, glaring darkly. "Another demon, I take it."
Polk Kitsune (12:28:03 AM): Meso simply grinned as he stepped forward. "In a way. Half right, half wrong." He shook his head as he looked down at Melissa. "I've really got to pick my opponents better, I suppose."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:30:09 AM): "Tch. Have you come to pick a fight with me too?"
Polk Kitsune (12:32:14 AM): The boy shook his head. "Not a second time, dear. Getting you frustrated over that fool Kazimir was enough to feed the Shadow game with what I needed..."
Polk Kitsune (12:32:39 AM): "Getting you to turn your snakes on Melissa was an added bonus, I'm sure."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:33:18 AM): "I've had enough of you badmouthing him." Ashley said and stepped forward herself.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:33:29 AM): "Either fight me, or gather your misbegotten comrade and get out of my sight."
Polk Kitsune (12:37:18 AM): A knife flew right by Ashley's cheek in less than a second as Meso looked at her. "Do you really think using your little needles are a match, little girl?"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:38:51 AM): "..." She brings a finger to the shallow cut on her cheek. "I beat her at her own game. I could easily defeat you."
Polk Kitsune (12:43:02 AM): His eyes narrowed down. "Is that so?" His fingers danced as he reached into his jacket. "You underestimate me, dear..."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:43:50 AM): "..." Hers did the same. "You underestimate me."
Polk Kitsune (12:48:25 AM): "Am I?" He slowly pulled out his dear rubber chicken. "Why, I'm sure dear Alfredo here could beat you down..." He said with a smug smirk.
Polk Kitsune (12:52:18 AM): With that, he started to spin the chicken by the neck, the weight inside making it stretch like a rubber flail it was. "I'm going to make you kiss the godchicken before long..."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:55:02 AM): "Is that so..."
Polk Kitsune (1:00:46 AM): The boy snickered wickedly before he leaped at her, the chicken swinging wide to wrap around her neck.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:02:56 AM): Ashley ducks and rolls away, throwing down a smoke bomb. Thick white smoke shoots out and rapidly begins expanding and rizing.
Polk Kitsune (1:06:34 AM): "This fog trick again? HAH!" The boy disappeared into the smoke, falling down on all four, and started to crawl quickly on the forest ground, right where he could hear her, grinning like a maniac through the smoke.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:13:45 AM): As he ducked down, if he looked up, Meso would see a rather large branch...being swung right for his head.
Polk Kitsune (1:17:07 AM): *CRACK!* The branch gave a loud resounding sound as it hit the boy's head right on. the boy's body twitched at first, tensing up... and down he went.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:18:10 AM): Ashley wasted no time, grabbing for a syringe with one hand, and one of his arms with another. The second she finds a vein, she drives the syringe in, and injects the sedative.
Polk Kitsune (1:20:33 AM): The boy's body didn't seem to react as the sedative was injected in... But as Ashley would bend down, she'd feel something cold, and rubbery start to climb up into her jacket, and under her shirt.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:21:13 AM): "...." Ashley immediately leaps backwards, running her hands over her jacket. What in the utter hell...?!
Polk Kitsune (1:22:29 AM): The feeling would move around, sneaking it's way around like a snake, scratching here and there as it wiggled, trying to get away from the grabbing hands.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:23:04 AM): "What...." She shoots a look at Meso. "What did you do to me?!"
Polk Kitsune (1:24:42 AM): Suddenly, the feeling would reach out for her collar... And Alfredo's head could come out, it's neck craning out, and looking around, before the toy turned to face Ashley with it's back, empty eyes...
Polk Kitsune (1:24:47 AM): "BUHKAW!"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:26:07 AM): "AAH!" She reaches back a hand, and slapped at the chicken head.
Polk Kitsune (1:27:22 AM): *SQUEAK!* "BUHKAW!" The chicken's head squeaked out, not even reacting, but snapped back, and bit at her nose, with all the rubbery grip it's beak could muster.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:30:01 AM): "NGH!" As it bit down on her nose, she grabbed at the chicken's head and tried to pull it away.
Polk Kitsune (1:32:20 AM): But it gripped and gripped, holding on tightly while it's body climbed around and up, trying to wrap it's own neck around the girl's
Viewtiful Rekk (1:34:06 AM): "Nghk...damn...it..." She hissed as the chicken began to wrap around her neck, while she continued trying to pull it off.
Polk Kitsune (1:36:18 AM): the chicken didn't seem to stop though, trying to strangle her. Meanwhile, the boy's body suddenly spasmed, gripped the ground, and with a grunt, swung his leg out, trying to sweep the busy girl right off her feet.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:38:36 AM): "GhAH!" She slips to the ground with a thud.
Polk Kitsune (1:40:32 AM): The boy flipped around, and falls right on top of the girl, grinning to her face to face. "Gotcha~"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:40:53 AM): "What...are you...." She manages to wheeze out.
Polk Kitsune (1:41:57 AM): The boy grinned. "The name... Is Munos... And I'll soon unleash Hell on Earth..."
Polk Kitsune (1:42:27 AM): "But first..." He leaned down, and kissed the girl directly on the lips, keeping his devilish smirk.
Polk Kitsune (1:44:41 AM): But along with the kiss... Would come a bitter taste... The taste of her own sedative she had injected into the boy...
Viewtiful Rekk (1:46:16 AM): "MMPH...ngh...." As the sedative was forced back into her body, she could feel her eyelids growing heavy almost immediately.
Polk Kitsune (1:49:31 AM): The boy pulled back, a small string of liquid connecting their lips as he pulled, grinning down at the girl. "How does it feel, dear~?" He placed a hand on Alfredo's head who was looking down too.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:50:21 AM): "ngh...." Ashley struggled to look up, but before she could manage to form any words, everything was already fading into inky blackness.
Polk Kitsune (1:51:47 AM): "That's right... Sleep tight." He waved a hand in front of her face. "We're going to have lots of fun from now on..." With that, he chuckled. "Aren't we, Alfredo?"
Polk Kitsune (1:52:26 AM): Meso flipped back to his feet. "Mmnn... Now I've got two bodies to carry back though. Can't get everything, I suppose."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:52:36 AM): Soon, she felt her eyes opening again....but still, all she could see was complete darkness, and one figure in front of her.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:52:38 AM): "...what...?"
Y Ruler of Time (1:52:57 AM): "Hello, Ashley."
Y Ruler of Time (1:53:16 AM): "How have you been?"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:53:20 AM): Her eyes slowly widen at the voice. "...im...possible..."
Y Ruler of Time (1:54:34 AM): "Evidently not," Kazimir quips as he walks toward Ashley.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:54:49 AM): "But...the Kaiser...he said you died...."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:55:07 AM): Ashley's look is one of pure bewilderment.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:55:16 AM): "....am I hallucinating because of the sedative?"
Y Ruler of Time (1:55:38 AM): "That is the likely explanation."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:56:09 AM): "...just as logical as you always are..."
Y Ruler of Time (1:57:06 AM): "If I am a hallucination, then I can only be as you remember me."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:58:41 AM): "..." She stares at him for a very long moment/
Viewtiful Rekk (1:58:59 AM): "...I feel as if I should be asking questions, but...if this is all in my mind, then it seems futile..."
Y Ruler of Time (2:00:21 AM): "..." Kazimir appears to consider the comment for some time before responding. "Sometimes, we must ask ourselves questions. Because sometimes, you are the only one who has the answer. Does that make sense to you?"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:00:54 AM): "...Somehow, I knew you'd say that."
Y Ruler of Time (2:02:14 AM): "Oh? Have I grown predictable in your mind?"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:02:47 AM): "I just...thought I always knew you very well..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:02:54 AM): "I tended to listen to you a lot, after all."
Y Ruler of Time (2:05:02 AM): "...I tended to talk to you a lot. I needed it, someone I could talk to...I had been through a lot, after all, though...the real 'me' would never admit that to be the reason."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:06:04 AM): "I see..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:06:40 AM): "....Would you have wanted me to help these students, Kazimir?"
Y Ruler of Time (2:08:38 AM): "..." Before answering, Kazimir replies with another question, "You do realize, that regardless of my merely being a composition of your true memories of the real Kazimir...that anything I say is self-assurance for you?"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:09:07 AM): "...." She smiles just a little bit. "I do."
Y Ruler of Time (2:10:41 AM): "...Then yes," he smiles back, "I would have wanted you to help them. Because this opponent, who has made others emotionally hurt, and stolen others' free will...He must be defeated."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:11:05 AM): "I see..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:11:58 AM): "But...it seems that I am of little use to them anyway..."
Y Ruler of Time (2:14:59 AM): "...Ashley..." he walks forward and grips her arms lightly. "Having you as an ally in harsh times was the greatest help to me in the world...I will not allow you to trivialize yourself."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:16:23 AM): "But...I could not save you in the end, or even make a difference..." She looks down, the smile still on her face.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:16:38 AM): "And now I'm caught in this embarrassing situation, unable to do anything against these demons."
Y Ruler of Time (2:19:18 AM): "You did what you thought was the best course of action at the time. You could not have predicted that a Darkness Game would have spontaneously generated, and dragged me away."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:22:46 AM): "..." She sighs. "And yet...it does not change the current circumstances."
Y Ruler of Time (2:26:23 AM): "...You remember...when you refused to abandon my side, several months ago."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:26:36 AM): "...Yes."
Y Ruler of Time (2:27:05 AM): "You were determined to stay with me, because you believed in me, and cared about me."
Y Ruler of Time (2:28:38 AM): "Now, it is impossible for me to stand beside you...But know this...It doesn't change the fact that I care about you...and believe in you."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:32:18 AM): She's silent for several moments, but then looks up at him.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:32:25 AM): "....Merely a self-assurance, you said?"
Y Ruler of Time (2:33:18 AM): "...I did."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:34:41 AM): "...if you're the soul of the departed Kazimir that somehow managed to insert itself into my mind, I'll be very cross with you for pretending to just be a hallucination."
Y Ruler of Time (2:35:21 AM): "..." 'Kazimir' chuckles. "You would be..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:36:30 AM): "Just the same...." She raise a hand and touches his cheek.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:36:33 AM): "Thank you."
Y Ruler of Time (2:36:48 AM): "..." He pauses. "Soul, or hallucination..."
Y Ruler of Time (2:37:03 AM): "There's one thing I know I can speak for the true Kazimir on."
Y Ruler of Time (2:37:24 AM): He pulls Ashley forward, into a hug. "...I miss you, Ashley."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:37:51 AM): "...." She returns the hug. "...I miss you as well, Kazimir."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:55:43 AM): "..." As she holds Kazimir in her arms, Ashley's eyes slowly slide closed once more.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:56:38 AM): Kazimir.... One of her hands clenches briefly. I think I understand....
Viewtiful Rekk (2:57:19 AM): I think I understand what I am supposed to do now.... Her hand shoots up and grabs at the rubber chicken around her neck.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:57:53 AM): But I don't know that I have the strength to do such things all alone....so....
Viewtiful Rekk (2:58:14 AM): Please....if only a little.... A red glow starts to surround her hand.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:58:20 AM): Lend me your strength.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:59:06 AM): Suddenly, all at once, she tears the chicken off of her, and flings it right back at Meso, leaping to her feet and skidding backwards.
Polk Kitsune (3:00:27 AM): "BUHKAW!" "Wha-?" The boy turned back quickly toward the girl. "Oh my..."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:01:56 AM): Suddenly, the glow spikes out and turns to a bright flash....and when it clears, red armor is surrounding Ashley's right arm. Drops of what seem to be blood drip off of the armor and fall to the ground.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:02:33 AM): "...I don't have any more time to waste with you...." She says, her breathing a bit labored. "I need to catch up with the rest of them.
Polk Kitsune (3:03:07 AM): The boy grinned wickedly at the sight. "I seeeeee~" He chuckled. "So the venom lady has a little more bite left in her..."
Polk Kitsune (3:06:16 AM): "Unfortunately... I suppose I have to make my leave." He leaped backward, grabbing his sister by the neck.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:06:59 AM): She briefly looked at the girl, wondering if she should do anything...but instead settled for remaining silent.
Polk Kitsune (3:09:18 AM): The boy grinned as he waited for the chicken to climb onto the girl and grab hold. "Good... Good girl." His eyes narrowed down. "Next time... I'll be sure to get your friends along the way~"
Viewtiful Rekk (3:09:36 AM): "Next time...we will stop you..."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:09:46 AM): "And I will make you regret every word you said against Kazimir..."
Polk Kitsune (3:10:11 AM): "Oh, we'll see..." The boy chuckled, and leaped out, pulling the unconscious girl away with him as he leaped from tree to tree, cackling madly.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:11:41 AM): "....ngh..." Suddenly, the armor rapidly starts falling away on to the ground, and before long, the entire thing has splashed down and formed a small pool of Ashley's own blood, which she falls to her hands and knees in.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:12:22 AM): I...somehow created that thing, but....how.... She looks down at her arm, which is still bleeding. It just...happened instinctively...
Viewtiful Rekk (3:14:10 AM): "But..." She smiles just a bit. "I can...form a hypothesis...when I get back to my room...."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:14:36 AM): She crawls forward a few inches....and promptly collapses.
Y Ruler of Time (3:18:27 AM): Some time later...
Y Ruler of Time (3:18:45 AM): "Ah! Over here, Akira-san!"
Viewtiful Rekk (3:19:00 AM): Akira looks up. "What is it?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:19:29 AM): Fuji delicately picks Ashley up. "She doesn't look too good..."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:19:46 AM): Akira looks down. "...is that blood...?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:20:13 AM): "...Yes, but...no obvious wounds."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:21:12 AM): "..." Akira frowns. "Does that mean it's not her blood, then...?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:22:53 AM): "That is a possibility we'll have to consider...but there's no one else around here, so if it is someone else's, they were either able to walk away, or were carried away."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:23:12 AM): "...you are correct."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:23:46 AM): "Take her to the infirmary. I will look to see if there's anyone else, then come after you shortly."
Y Ruler of Time (3:24:04 AM): "Right!" He immediately takes off, moving through the trees.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:27:39 AM): "..." Akira looks back, and after she's sure he's gone, she pulls a vial from her jacket.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:28:12 AM): She then bends down, and carefully scoops a sample of the blood into it, before tightly placing a stopper into it.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:28:49 AM): "Curiouser and curiouser, this school..." She says briefly, before turning and walking after Fuji.
