Y Ruler of Time (11:50:24 PM): "Right, fuck it...Donovan, give me some room!" He places Alastor between himself and the approaching students, and presses his hands to the ground.

Viewtiful Rekk (11:51:48 PM): Alastor grunts and starts punting the various students away from Riku.

Y Ruler of Time (11:54:03 PM): A large, red-blossomed plant gradually emerges from the ground, its bud about the size of a human.
Y Ruler of Time (11:54:29 PM): As the plant appears, Riku removes his jacket, and grabs Alastor, wrapping it around his face.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:54:48 PM): "mpphwh!?"
Y Ruler of Time (11:55:09 PM): "Cool it, this'll be a lot easier'n dragging your unconscious body out of here."
Y Ruler of Time (11:55:47 PM): The bud opens, releasing a tremendous cloud of yellow pollen. "Once it dissipates you can take it off."
Y Ruler of Time (11:56:43 PM): The approaching students begin to drop as they inhale the pollen.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:57:04 PM): "...mmpressive."

Y Ruler of Time (11:58:13 PM): Several minutes pass, and when the pollen has either dissipated or fallen to the ground, Riku removes his jacket from Alastor's face and throws it over his shoulders again.

Y Ruler of Time (11:59:42 PM): "Could've been some sorta possession...more extreme'n the kinda Amado was under, though. It was like they were...mindless."

Viewtiful Rekk (12:01:28 AM): A spirit steps through one of the walls, her skin a mix of black and purple. One eyes turquoise, the other orange.

Y Ruler of Time (12:01:58 AM): Quince's frills stand on end as the the spirit emerges, and Riku tenses for action.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:02:45 AM): Alastor frowns. "Who the hell is this, some he/she Duel Spirit!?"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:04:53 AM): Yubel looks around. "My my, it seems I underestimated just what the human body is capable of, even with my help..."
Y Ruler of Time (12:05:45 AM): "...The hell're you talkin' about?"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:06:41 AM): "I am the one, that...you could say, focused all of these students."
Y Ruler of Time (12:08:47 AM): "...So you're allies with the crazy demonic group too?"

Viewtiful Rekk (12:09:51 AM): "Yubel!?" Alastor's eyes widen. "You're that freaky spirit that Zandel used!"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:13:43 AM): "Ah, yes, Hayden. So unfortunate what happened to him." She smirks down at the two. "I don't suppose either of you would be willing to take his place."
Y Ruler of Time (12:14:01 AM): "What're you two talking about?"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:14:17 AM): "Y'know who Hayden Zandel is?"
Y Ruler of Time (12:14:27 AM): "Not really."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:14:52 AM): "Doesn't matter then. Long story short: She's evil."
Y Ruler of Time (12:15:06 AM): "Fair enough."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:16:17 AM): Yubel scoffs and waves an arm. Several of the zombies get back up.
Y Ruler of Time (12:16:58 AM): "Yeesh...she's like a not-as-gross-as-usual necromancer..."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:17:19 AM): She smirks at the two yellows. "I sense some truly powerful Darkness of the Heart in you two...I'm sure that taking it will greatly facilitate my recovery."

Viewtiful Rekk (12:18:33 AM): "Oh, so I got held back a couple times and went kinda crazy! It's not like I ate babies or something!"

Viewtiful Rekk (12:24:42 AM): Yubel snaps. Darkness shoots up all around them and closes into a dome shape. The zombies are somehow all left on the outside.

Rakath Chaos (2:58:57 AM): However she's not in her yellow outfit, she's decked out for combat. However her sword is broken, most of her wings look to have been ripped off. And she's been beat to hell.
Y Ruler of Time (2:59:22 AM): "Wha-!? You! What the hell are you doing here!?" He notices the angelic victim. "...Amy?"
Rakath Chaos (3:00:57 AM): "Yanno, we're in a forest," Amy shouts, "Make the trees march on the bad guys or something!? I can't beat them alone. Big killer plants, something?" With that she rushes headlong into the enemies on hand.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:02:20 AM): Jin is there as well, and his condition is much the same as Amy's. "Yes, Riku, do something! This is supposed to be your natural element, isn't it!?" He rushes forward right after Amy, sword in hand.
Polk Kitsune (3:02:21 AM): The hellhound roared out, pouncing toward Amy, bringing it's two paws right on top of her.
Rakath Chaos (3:03:33 AM): Amy is knocked down by the giant dog. Her halos blasting out beams at the dog from around it, but not doing much.
Polk Kitsune (3:04:12 AM): Munos meanwhile grins wickedly as he leaps rapidly from side to side toward Jin, both bloodied knives lashing out as the pair approach to each other.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:04:45 AM): Jin is slashes across his chest, and stumbles back weakly. "Riku...do something...!" He says, bringing his sword up defensively.
Y Ruler of Time (3:04:50 AM): 'I...I have to stop this!' Riku lowers a hand to the ground, and begins to concentrate...before his eyes widen in horror.
Y Ruler of Time (3:05:17 AM): 'I can't hear them...and they're not listening to me!?'
Rakath Chaos (3:05:26 AM): "Now would be preferable," Amy has a large hellhound on her, breathing is hard, let alone talking... "Please..."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:05:52 AM): "Riku! What are you waiting for!?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:06:32 AM): 'I can't! Why can't I-!? Please, please! Vines, trees, seeds, grass, weeds, SOMETHING! ANYTHING!'
Polk Kitsune (3:06:38 AM): The giant fiery dog doesn't even flinch from the blasts, the black tendrils lashing out at the light. It presses it's paw on her, holding her down as both heads come closer, fire starting to blast out at the girl.
Polk Kitsune (3:07:41 AM): Munos cackled out as one knife was caught by the blade, but the second driven into Jin's side. "Useless, useless, USELESS!"
Rakath Chaos (3:07:49 AM): "RIKU! NOW!" Amy closes her eyes, as the fire comes out of the big ugly mutt's mouths.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:09:17 AM): Jin is pierced in the side by the blade and lets out a blood-soaked cough. "Riku....!"
Polk Kitsune (3:14:01 AM): Without wasting a moment, Munos flips around Jin, biting down on his neck like an animal, drawing blood, turning so Riku could get a good look of the wicked look on his face as he plunged the white blade into Jin's face...
Y Ruler of Time (3:09:56 AM): 'No...please no...! Come one, damn it! They're dying! I NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE!'

Viewtiful Rekk (3:10:19 AM): And slowly...everything fades back into black...
Viewtiful Rekk (3:10:28 AM): Before the duel appears again.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:10:49 AM): Yubel, meanwhile, is smiling darkly at Riku. "Do you not understand now?"

Y Ruler of Time (3:12:13 AM): Seconds pass. Quince cautiously approaches Riku, and nudges his shoulder.
Y Ruler of Time (3:15:43 AM): As the lion nudges him, Riku sways to the side...sways back...and suddenly collapses onto his rear.
Y Ruler of Time (3:18:23 AM): He remains there, sitting quietly, with a vacant expression on his face.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:18:58 AM): Yubel looks down. "Well?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:19:42 AM): Quince looks over Riku once, before sitting down next to him, looking rather content.
Y Ruler of Time (3:21:02 AM): Several more seconds pass, before Riku lifts his head up, staring at Yubel
Y Ruler of Time (3:21:16 AM): His eyes are...strangely very dark.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:21:30 AM): Yubel merely continues smirking.
Y Ruler of Time (3:22:41 AM): "...........Aaaaa-AAAAGGGHHH!!!!" Riku clenches his eyes shut and rubs at them vigorously through his eyelids with his fingers.
Y Ruler of Time (3:23:55 AM): "Ow-OW! Why didn't you warn me this'd hurt my eyes like hell?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:24:08 AM): Quince growls apologetically.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:24:28 AM): "And what is this?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:25:23 AM): Riku stands up, blinking repeatedly. "Defense mechanism."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:26:13 AM): "Pardon?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:26:36 AM): "It's a little complicated...Quince was explaining it to me just now..."
Y Ruler of Time (3:27:10 AM): "It's a way of dealing with psychological trauma, or some equivalent matter..."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:28:08 AM): "I see." Yubel seems amused.
Y Ruler of Time (3:28:23 AM): "Apparently I slipped into it, after what you showed me. See...because I'm not...fully human."
Y Ruler of Time (3:28:49 AM): "And plants don't tend to have 'Hearts of Darkness', do they?"
Viewtiful Rekk (3:29:10 AM): She tilts her head. "So you're immune to my powers now?"
Y Ruler of Time (3:30:39 AM): Riku pauses to consider this. "...No," he admits, "but I can work through them. I'll go catatonic for a little while, until I can work through whatever you throw at me."
Y Ruler of Time (3:31:01 AM): "And we'll keep going until you cut the crap, or I just come up against something I can't figure out.""
Viewtiful Rekk (3:31:37 AM): "How interesting...a human who is able to resist the terror of my love..."

Y Ruler of Time (3:33:08 AM): He looks over his hand to remind himself of what options he has. "You know what I concluded, after what you showed me?"

Viewtiful Rekk (4:09:08 AM): The attacks are about to hit Yubel...but a single vine shoots up and takes the brunt.
Y Ruler of Time (4:10:05 AM): "...What?"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:10:19 AM): (0000) Yubel grins sadistically. "Nightmare Pain."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:10:26 AM): Another vine shoots out, straight for Riku.
Y Ruler of Time (4:11:33 AM): Shunk. Riku blinks in surprise...and looks down at the vine in his gut.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:12:07 AM): The vine then proceeds to twist around Riku, the thorns raking his entire body.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:12:22 AM): "Share it with me, Riku Kayou! This exquisite pain!"
Y Ruler of Time (4:13:13 AM): Rather than screaming out in pain, Riku's face simply pales, as he begins to fall into shock.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:14:09 AM): Yubel smiles as the vine pulls away, and the darkness begins to fade...
Viewtiful Rekk (4:15:51 AM): "Ngh...." And he sees Alastor, also locked in a duel with Yubel. (900) (3100)
Y Ruler of Time (4:16:22 AM): '....Donovan....when did...?'
Viewtiful Rekk (4:17:50 AM): Similarly to Riku's duel, Yubel's final form towers over the field. (0/0) Alastor meanwhile has four monsters on his field. (1700/1200) (2400/1500) (2800/2600) (1700/1600)
Viewtiful Rekk (4:18:30 AM): "I activate Strike Ninja's effect! By removing two DARK-attribute monsters in my grave from the game, it is removed from play until the end of the turn!" Two of his cards eject from his graveyard, and the ninja vanishes.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:19:03 AM): "And then, my face down card! Escape From the Dark Dimension! This revives my removed from play Shadowpriestess of Ohm!" (1700/1600)
Viewtiful Rekk (4:19:32 AM): "Ohm's effect sacrifices all of my monsters to deal you 800 damage for each one! SHADOW BARRAGE!" All four of the monsters turn into black flames and fire at Yubel...
Viewtiful Rekk (4:20:12 AM): Which are again, taken by a vine which shields Yubel. (0000) The demonic spirit grins as the vine shoots out and rakes Alastor's body, much the same it did Riku's.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:21:30 AM): "Ngh....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Alastor screams out, and drops on to his hands and knees as the vine retracts.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:21:39 AM): "...Kayou...when did you...?" He looks to the side.
Y Ruler of Time (4:21:55 AM): "Hey...that's my line!"
Y Ruler of Time (4:22:26 AM): Apparently he feels well enough to place bickering with Alastor as a priority.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:22:27 AM): "Ah. Allow me to explain." Yubel raises a finger.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:22:44 AM): "I placed you both into separate Darkness Games, and merely split my consciousness while I dueled you both."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:24:09 AM): "Unfortunate that I lost...perhaps I've become a bit rusty." She shuffles her deck. By this point, all the zombies have gotten back up.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:25:05 AM): "I suppose I can just add you two to my Duel Zombies....unless you think you're up to dueling them again."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:25:56 AM): The zombies cackle hollowly at this. "Duel!" "Duuuuel!" "Duel?" "Duel!" "Duel duel duel?" "Duel!" "Duuuuuel!"
Y Ruler of Time (4:26:02 AM): "Damn sadistic bitch..."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:26:26 AM): "Well fuck me running, she's got us in a bind..."
Y Ruler of Time (4:26:43 AM): "Think you can fly us out of here?"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:26:50 AM): Alastor slowly attempts to get back to his feet, but just falls again. "Fuck...wish I'd kept a Dis-Belt or two on me..."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:27:20 AM): "...could I make the wings? Sure."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:27:48 AM): "Getting out of here would require setting off an explosion to give me the proper propulsion though, which would leave you and these fine gentlemen...slightly incinerated."
Y Ruler of Time (4:28:21 AM): "...Shit...And I don't think they're going to give us enough time for me to recover..."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:29:09 AM): "...is this the part where we shout that we'll show them the Gurren-dan's resolve and go out in a blaze of glory?"
Y Ruler of Time (4:29:36 AM): "..." Riku gives Alastor a weird look. "What are you talking about?"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:29:47 AM): "....watch anime, son!"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:30:09 AM): Duel Zombies are positively stymied. Yubel looks just a tad bit confused.
Y Ruler of Time (4:33:06 AM): "...Yeah, sure. We fight the good fight, then. Hell, maybe Kamikaze'll swoop in and save our asses."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:34:56 AM): "...." Yubel merely waves a hand. The Duel Zombies start closing in...
Viewtiful Rekk (4:35:37 AM): Before the flat side of a long blade sweeps out, sending most of them straight into a wall.
Y Ruler of Time (4:36:03 AM): "..." Riku blinks. "I...was just joking, I swear..."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:36:15 AM): Akira Kaito steps in front of the two, and glances down at the two students.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:36:21 AM): "This area is off limits to students."
Y Ruler of Time (4:36:31 AM): "Well a bright hello to you too."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:36:50 AM): "Who th' fuck are you?!"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:37:22 AM): "..." Akira plants her blade in the ground, pulls out a journal, writes something in, puts the journal away and takes her blade up again.
Y Ruler of Time (4:37:46 AM): "Who cares? We don't have to die now."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:38:26 AM): "Ahhh...if it isn't Akira Kaito. I'm having so many reunions now..." Akira brings up the blade. "Leave. You know what I'm capable of now, and to what extent I'll go to."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:39:46 AM): Yubel grins at her. "Yes, that seems best." She beckons to the Duel Zombies with a flick of her wrist. They all slowly file out.
Y Ruler of Time (4:40:12 AM): "Hey!" Riku props himself up on one arm, holding the other to his wounded stomach.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:40:19 AM): "I will bid you farewell for now, Akira Kaito...but I do hope we can catch up some time." With that, she vanishes.
Y Ruler of Time (4:40:36 AM): "We had an agree-damn it!"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:40:37 AM): Akira plants her blade again, and slowly rests Riku back on the ground.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:40:48 AM): "You've been injured. Do not struggle."
Y Ruler of Time (4:41:21 AM): "But-! She was supposed to release them!"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:41:57 AM): "Yeah, I told her if I beat her, she has to release them!"
Y Ruler of Time (4:42:08 AM): "That's my line again!"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:42:16 AM): "I don't see your name on it!"
Y Ruler of Time (4:42:35 AM): "Don't go stealing credit for the things I said and did!"

Viewtiful Rekk (4:43:33 AM): "..." Akira sighs, and writes something down in her journal again, before smacking them both over the head with it.

Viewtiful Rekk (4:44:55 AM): "What you were in was not a Darkness Game."
Y Ruler of Time (4:45:11 AM): "..." Riku blinks. "It...sure seemed like it."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:45:27 AM): "It should have. It was Yubel's own pocket dimension."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:46:04 AM): "Even if she is bested in combat there, all of the pain is reflected off of her and on to her opponent."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:46:51 AM): "She likes to make people think it's a Darkness Game, to keep them off guard..."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:47:50 AM): "...but...that...how the hell is that fair!?" Akira sighs. "...it's not."
Y Ruler of Time (4:48:21 AM): "Our enemies don't play fair...it really shouldn't be surprising at this point." Riku sighs as well.
Y Ruler of Time (4:48:41 AM): After a few moments, he looks up at Alastor. "...What'd she show you?"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:48:53 AM): "How's that any of your business?!"
Y Ruler of Time (4:49:45 AM): "...I suppose it isn't."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:50:07 AM): "...well, uh....yeah, I guess it isn't."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:52:16 AM): Akira sighs. "This is all beyond the point...right now, I need to preform surgery on the two of you."
Y Ruler of Time (4:52:38 AM): "..." Riku turns his head to Akira. "Say what now?"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:52:38 AM): "...wait, huh?"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:53:20 AM): She points at the wounds left by the vines. "Those vines. Yubel uses them to transmit her virus. The virus that has turned those other students into the "Duel Zombies"."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:54:28 AM): "You two have higher spiritual fortitude, so...you haven't turned yet. At best, I'd guess...." She looks at her watch. "About 90-120 seconds."
Y Ruler of Time (4:54:50 AM): "...You sure about that? I don't feel like saying 'Duel' over and over again."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:55:01 AM): "So..." She holds up a hand. Bolts of lightning start running around it. "I can remove it now, or I can tie you down after you turn and do it then."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:55:17 AM): "I challenge you both to a duel."
Y Ruler of Time (4:55:40 AM): "Sure."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:55:41 AM): "LET'S GO!" Alastor raises his Duel Disk."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:55:47 AM): "...oh fuck."
Y Ruler of Time (4:56:20 AM): "...I just agreed to play a children's card game while my stomach is critically injured."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:56:33 AM): "Believe me now?"
Y Ruler of Time (4:56:55 AM): "...How long will this take?"
Viewtiful Rekk (4:57:55 AM): She plunges her hand into Alastor's chest. "First time I've actually done it. All my theoretical research says I have about 45 seconds before I aggravate the virus, and....boom."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:58:20 AM): Alastor's eyes are somewhere around the size of dinner plates now.
Y Ruler of Time (4:58:45 AM): "...I'm considering taking my chances with the virus now, thanks..."
Viewtiful Rekk (4:59:30 AM): Akira moves her hand around a bit...before tearing it out, soaked in blood, and a black thiny spore in her hand.
Viewtiful Rekk (4:59:59 AM): She makes a fist, crushing the spore. "Sorry. Not on the menu." She drives her other hand into Riku's chest.
Y Ruler of Time (5:00:27 AM): "-!!!" Riku gapes.
Viewtiful Rekk (5:01:07 AM): Akira frowns for a second and plants her other hand on the ground...and then tears her hand out of Riku. Again, she crushes the spore in her hand.
Viewtiful Rekk (5:01:45 AM): "...the virus seemed to be naturally growing into your body...how odd...."
Y Ruler of Time (5:03:34 AM): "...........aaaaaaahaowwww"
Viewtiful Rekk (5:04:26 AM): Akira glances at the two. "...I do hope I can develop an indirect antidote for this. Parents wouldn't appreciate me driving my hands into the chests of all of their children..."
Viewtiful Rekk (5:05:09 AM): She places the nodachi into a sheath at her back, before throwing Riku over one shoulder, and Alastor over the other.
Viewtiful Rekk (5:05:21 AM): "...very pain..." Alastor grunts.
Y Ruler of Time (5:06:25 AM): "...My line..." Riku wheezes.
Viewtiful Rekk (5:06:40 AM): "...f'ck...you..."
Viewtiful Rekk (5:09:30 AM): Akira frowns, drops both of them, writes something down in her journal again, and then picks them up again.
