Viewtiful Rekk (10:30:07 PM): Yubel stands at the top of the academy's room, grinning down at the sight below: nothing at all except the occasional Duel Zombie.
Viewtiful Rekk (10:30:44 PM): "Those two annoying demons are gone...." The bodies of Meso and Melissa lay at her feet. "And now I have all of the Demon King's possessions...." Munos's orb spins slightly in her hand.
Viewtiful Rekk (10:31:55 PM): "Perhaps I will seek out young Hayden again...he understood me quite well." She crosses her arms. "But I should finish dealing with the rest of this school first..."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:34:54 PM): "I suppose with those demons gone, the dorm heads of this school will seek me out..."
kwikkidus (10:35:33 PM): "There is no need." Arms folded, Zaniah stepped out onto the roof, coat tails fluttering in the wind. "It will be ending here, Yubel."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:37:34 PM): "Ah....Zaniah Melancholy." She smirks. "I've been expecting you."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:38:11 PM): "And....Jin Honjou! How nice to see you again!"
Viewtiful Rekk (10:38:25 PM): Jin merely pulls out his sword and says nothing in response.
kwikkidus (10:38:30 PM): "You have been quite busy, Yubel. I cannot say I am surprised, but... I will have to ask you to return to your seal now."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:38:50 PM): Yubel grins. "I don't believe I'll be returning to that seal or any other.
kwikkidus (10:39:23 PM): "I would prefer you do this peacefully... you know fighting will not get either of us anywhere.'
Viewtiful Rekk (10:39:44 PM): "Fighting will not get you anywhere."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:40:10 PM): "My duels against all of these students...and feeding on the exquisite darkness of their hearts..." She flexes a hand. "My full power has been returned."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:40:37 PM): "The last time I was at full strength, it took you, Cho Soren and Ichirou Komatsu your full strength just to seal me in that wretched well."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:41:01 PM): "Now just you and this boy of the Honjou."
kwikkidus (10:41:16 PM): Now it's the hellnurse's turn to grin. "I believe it shall be sufficient to stop one such as yourself."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:41:34 PM): "Will it? I do wonder."
kwikkidus (10:42:41 PM): "There is really only one way to find out, I suppose..." She opens her belt pouch, pulling out a scalpel. "I should warn you, though... Honjous are not to be underestimated."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:42:42 PM): "I wonder..." A Duel Disk makes its way out of her arm. "Should I duel you two and add you to my army...or just kill you..."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:42:59 PM): "Certainly not Honjou that I've already beaten."
kwikkidus (10:43:39 PM): "Are you planning to duel me instead?"
Viewtiful Rekk (10:44:00 PM): "I certainly could. Why, I could even duel you both at once!"
Viewtiful Rekk (10:44:15 PM): "I could feast on the suffering in both of your hearts at the same time...how exquisite that would be."
kwikkidus (10:45:43 PM): "If I recall correctly... I seriously doubt defeating you would be effective in getting rid of you."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:46:03 PM): "Aah." Yubel tilts her head. "I can see Akira Kaito shared my techniques with you."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:46:22 PM): "It's funny. I'd expect her to be here rather than you."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:46:42 PM): "She seems far more efficient than you...she, after all, was never thrown away."
kwikkidus (10:47:17 PM): Zaniah's eyes widen almost imperceptibly. "The past has nothing to do with today, Yubel."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:47:46 PM): "Ah, you are right."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:48:06 PM): "This day is all about the future." Her Duel Disk fades back into her arm. "The future that I will create once I defeat you."
kwikkidus (10:50:28 PM): "You will not find us quite so easily defeated as mere students, Yubel..." she points her scalpel at the monster. "This is not my first time in a fight."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:52:35 PM): "Nor is it mine." Both of Yubel's purple wings spread out. "Now...will you use your precious Seal of Darkness, or are we going to toy with each other first?"
Viewtiful Rekk (10:52:50 PM): Jin's eyes widen. Seal of.... He stares at Zaniah.
kwikkidus (10:53:35 PM): "I have not used it in ten long years..." She shakes her head. "I will not release it for someone such as you." She balls her empty hand, creating a small orange sphere of duel energy behind her back.
Viewtiful Rekk (10:54:17 PM): "Such a shame, that you hide such a glorious power."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:54:46 PM): Yubel grins and vanishes, appearing right in Zaniah's face. "Very well." She sends a fist up at the nurse's chest.
kwikkidus (10:56:02 PM): "I am sure you would love to experience it. But..." She's suddenly hit, eyes bulging as she moves her hand to Yubel's, the energy in it turning red. "...Burst."
Viewtiful Rekk (10:58:12 PM): Yubel darts away as the burst flies. When it's finished, a green vine with thorns at the end has tightly coiled around her and completely absorbed the blast.
Viewtiful Rekk (10:58:18 PM): The vine then uncoils and shoots for Zaniah.
kwikkidus (10:59:09 PM): With a swift raising of her hand, an orange barrier appears in front of her, holding the vine at bay as her other holds itself to her chest. "You have not changed..."
kwikkidus (11:05:19 PM): "Jin... wait for your moment, and end it in one strike." With a beating of wings, she moves behind Yubel, slashing sharply at her back.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:05:59 PM): Yubel easily darts away from the attack. "Really, is that all you're capable of?"
Viewtiful Rekk (11:06:49 PM): Jin lets out a low grunt and moves behind one of the pillars. Not many of my techniques will harm Yubel...but...any sealing will take too much time...
kwikkidus (11:07:35 PM): "Hardly." She rushes at Yubel again, slashing at her. This time, a blade of solid energy comes out and follows after her slash, extending her range slightly.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:08:40 PM): Another vine shoots from the ground and eats the attack...as a second shoots out behind Zaniah and goes for her back.
kwikkidus (11:09:41 PM): She pushes off to the side, the vine cutting deeply into her side as it flies past. "Khh..."
Viewtiful Rekk (11:09:52 PM): "That's one..."
kwikkidus (11:10:10 PM): "What do you mean by that...?"
Viewtiful Rekk (11:10:13 PM): "How many cuts will it take for you to join my Duel Zombies, Zaniah Melancholy?" She smirks.
kwikkidus (11:11:14 PM): "I would sooner die than become a slave to something else." the wound slowly begins to close. "I will never become one of yours." kwikkidus (10:10:04 PM): "You, not I, are the one who will fall today." She rushes forward and slashes again, this time aiming to stop right before landing a blow against her. Time to see something...
Viewtiful Rekk (11:17:07 PM): Yubel simply brings up an arm and grabs Zaniah's scalpel...before shattering it in her hand.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:17:55 PM): "Such boring and simplistic attacks, Melancholy."
Viewtiful Rekk (11:18:29 PM): She then brings a leg right up to Zaniah's stomach in a harsh kneeing attack.
kwikkidus (11:20:02 PM): The knee connects against a barrier just before reaching skin, the force of the blow sending her sliding back a little, otherwise unhurt. "Then I will have to get creative."
kwikkidus (11:20:40 PM): With a step forward, she wingbeats behind Yubel and gracefully aims the back of her hand at the back of the spirit's head, aiming to simply smack her.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:23:02 PM): Yubel is....smacked in the head.
kwikkidus (11:24:08 PM): It's followed up with a elbow, sanctuary energy turning it into a punching dagger aimed for where a human's kidney would be.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:25:12 PM): The dagger just scratches off of Yubel's armor. Yubel takes this opportunity to spin around and bring her own elbow to Zaniah's jaw.
kwikkidus (11:26:41 PM): It connects, and the hellnurse takes the shot without slowing down, spinning from the inertia of it into a slash with her arm, her barrier making the entire thing as a sword slash. That is right... attack. Attack more.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:27:39 PM): Yubel smacks the sword-sanctuary away with the back of her hand and just brings her elbow down on Zaniah's head again.
kwikkidus (11:29:10 PM): She catches the elbow with her other hand, before simply vanishing, reappearing about a yard away from Yubel, panting slightly. "Come on, Yubel... Is that all?" she gasps out between breaths.
(11:30:02 PM) Hinoryu8 has entered the room.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:34:51 PM): Yubel scoffs. "Are you planning something?
kwikkidus (11:35:48 PM): "You talk on and on about suffering and pain being love, Yubel. Having fought you, however..." She smirks, regaining her footing. "I do not think you love me very much."
Viewtiful Rekk (11:40:14 PM): Yubel starts to step towards Zaniah. Two smaller vines shoot up and ensnare Zaniah's legs.
kwikkidus (11:41:19 PM): She puts a hand in her pocket, shaking her head. "And now what, pain beyond pain?"
Viewtiful Rekk (11:44:51 PM): "You are planning something."
kwikkidus (11:45:20 PM): "I brought someone specializing in killing demons for a reason... Last chance to surrender, Yubel-san."
Viewtiful Rekk (11:48:15 PM): "..." Yubel scoffs. "You dorm heads all have one thing on common. Unbelievable arrogance."
Viewtiful Rekk (11:49:35 PM): Yubel snaps two fingers. Below them, groans of "Duuuuuuell....." can be heard.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:49:52 PM): Within less than a minute, dozens of the duel zombies have gathered on the grounds below.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:50:35 PM): "Whatever it is you're hiding...drop it on the ground in front of you, or I'll simply kill all these students."
kwikkidus (11:52:11 PM): Rather than respond, Zaniah slowly removes her coat, tossing it aside and letting the breeze carry it away, followed by removing her belt with first-aid kit attached, and throwing it over to land at Jin's feet.
kwikkidus (11:53:04 PM): "There is nothing I can hide, Yubel. Are you so frightened of a little girl?"
Viewtiful Rekk (11:53:17 PM): With that, Yubel's hand shoots forward into Zaniah's stomach like a dagger.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:53:22 PM): "Not so much, no."
kwikkidus (11:53:52 PM): She's impaled by it, her hands grabbing Yubel's . "You want to know something funny..?"
Viewtiful Rekk (11:54:42 PM): A vine shoots up and tightly wraps around Zaniah's arm, before grinding into it. She probably risks losing something if she doesn't let go.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:54:58 PM): "What is that?"
kwikkidus (11:57:03 PM): "This is nowhere near the worst pain I have ever felt." Violet runes begin covering Zaniah's body, as a burst of darkness explodes forth from her.
Viewtiful Rekk (11:57:20 PM): Yubel grins a bit. "Ah, so you finally decide to use it."
Viewtiful Rekk (11:57:35 PM): "!!!" Jin's eyes widen. Th-this is...!
kwikkidus (11:58:53 PM): "A wise person once told me that he would do anything to protect what's important..." Smoke starts to come up from where the vines are touching her, wilting them slightly . "I will do the same."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:02:02 AM): Yubel grins almost manically. "Well, then Zaniah Melancholy....!"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:02:44 AM): Black vines shoots from the ground around them and close around them, like a cage.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:03:04 AM): "Suffer for your love!"
kwikkidus (12:04:52 AM): "Love..? You misunderstand..." She opens her eyes fully, an almost feral glint in them. "You are love. I shall simply become something capable of killing even that sick love that makes you."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:05:32 AM): Yubel is still grinning. "Then do it, if you can!" The vines rapidly begin closing in on the two.
kwikkidus (12:06:46 AM): She raises her hand. "Dark Sanctuary." A small dome projects itself around her, this one made up of the violet energy, and crackling dangerously.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:10:12 AM): The vines close around the sanctuary, grinding into it. Yubel in the meantime grabs Zaniah's neck with her free hand.
kwikkidus (12:13:45 AM): The vines get a surge of dark energy, as Zaniah stares right at Yubel. She raises her other hand, it crackling with the same energy as she shoves her forearm right at Yubel's elbow, aiming to cleave the damn thing off.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:18:58 AM): Yubel's eyes widen as the arm cuts into her elbow. "Heh..heh..." She merely responds by twisting her hand deeper into Zaniah's stomach.
kwikkidus (12:21:25 AM): "So this... is your all?" She pulls the arm back before thrusting it forward again, this time aiming for the spirit's heart and giving it her all, the remaining sanctuary dropping to further reinforce the armblade.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:23:01 AM): Yubel's wing folds over, being pierced by the arm, but stopping it from reaching her heart. Meanwhile, the vines all but drop down on to the two of them.
kwikkidus (12:26:27 AM): Not a lot of time... We know. Sucks, huh? I don't recall giving you permission to speak. It's always take take take with you.... we're getting annoyed. Fine. Here.
kwikkidus (12:28:25 AM): Her arm pulls back, and she tears herself away from Yubel, skidding back and wingbeating to the other side of the thorns.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:29:55 AM): Yubel grins as the vines stop and separate.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:30:01 AM): "You're getting desperate."
kwikkidus (12:32:05 AM): Her arm places itself on the gaping hole in her chest, closing it more rapidly than usual thanks to all the extra energy, albeit it seems a little... purpler than normal. "And you are not as invincible as you thought."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:33:26 AM): The black vines all chase after Zaniah.
kwikkidus (12:35:32 AM): "Struck a nerve..?" She puts up a hand, the crackling violet dome appearing once more around her. "I will take you into the darkness... and there you will suffer forever. Perhaps then you will be happy."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:40:18 AM): "Is that so...?" The vines savagely beat at the dome.
kwikkidus (12:42:42 AM): "It is." She walks calmly forward, moving the dome along with her."Come, Yubel... Stop fighting. There is no reason to continue this charade."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:47:19 AM): "Last I checked, I'm winning, Zaniah." Yubel smirks.
kwikkidus (12:48:10 AM): "That is because we know something you do not."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:49:31 AM): She grins. "Your Seal is leaking into your mind, dear Zaniah."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:50:28 AM): "The Seal that you swore to not use, in fact! The one that you use even though it makes you suffer! Suffer for your love of these students!"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:52:40 AM): She holds up her arm, the Duel Disk forming once again.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:53:31 AM): She then draws two cards from her deck and slides them both in.
kwikkidus (12:53:41 AM): "Are you finished talking? They are last words, after all."
Viewtiful Rekk (12:53:48 AM): A scroll wraps around her arm...and a mirror appears behind Zaniah.
Viewtiful Rekk (12:54:02 AM): "Equip Spell - Scroll of Bewitchment. Continuous Trap - Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror."
kwikkidus (12:54:54 AM): "...Hmm?"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:55:11 AM): The scroll glows brightly, and the mirror starts...pulling at Zaniah.
kwikkidus (12:55:29 AM): "...What... is this...?"
Viewtiful Rekk (12:55:55 AM): "If you want to suffer for your love of these students....then suffer for it, Zaniah Melancholy!"
kwikkidus (12:57:24 AM): "As always... you misunderstand..." She continues sliding towards the mirror. "I do not harbor any love for these students. Not one of them."
kwikkidus (12:58:10 AM): "They are, as a whole, loudmouthed, obnoxious, and little more than compost for the few fertile minds that exist here."
kwikkidus (12:59:39 AM): "Indeed... the one present right now has not even learned the lesson I tried to teach after his loss to a Thestalos..."
kwikkidus (1:02:31 AM): "I protect my students because they cannot protect themselves."
kwikkidus (1:03:48 AM): "And I will destroy you... even if it kills me."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:04:01 AM): Yubel just laughs.
kwikkidus (1:05:54 AM): "Something funny?"

Viewtiful Rekk (1:06:55 AM): "Not by love, not by hate..." The mirror begins sucking away at the energy in Zaniah's seal.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:07:10 AM): "You will never harm me like that."
kwikkidus (1:08:30 AM): She kneels onto a knee, the runes beginning to fade. "You think so... huh?"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:13:12 AM): "I know so." The black vines descend on her once more.
kwikkidus (1:14:32 AM): She holds a hand out, a normal sanctuary forming. That mirror... takes darkness... but... If I can hold on a little more... maybe he'll find an opening...
Viewtiful Rekk (1:17:33 AM): "Reduced to mere defense."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:17:57 AM): "I suppose you'll draw this out as far as possible, won't you?" The vines repeatedly strike at the shield. "A fitting end for you, I suppose."
kwikkidus (1:20:20 AM): She winces with every strike against her barrier. ...Trusting someone else... hah. Well... "I am nothing if not stubborn."
kwikkidus (1:28:21 AM): "But... you know... Yubel. I am not going to lose to you like this. It is quite impossible."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:28:54 AM): Yubel scoffs. "You're unable to even die with dignity, Melancholy?"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:29:24 AM): She smirks and looks over at the pillar Jin's hiding behind. "Perhaps you'll lose a bit of that annoying composure of yours if I slash open your young ward's throat first."
kwikkidus (1:30:00 AM): "That scroll on your arm. It is the only thing that is keeping the mirror away from you. Is it not?"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:30:23 AM): "I suppose that would be the case, yes."
kwikkidus (1:31:12 AM): "And that is why you have not already turned towards Jin. Your body may be armored. That scroll, however, is paper."
Rakath Chaos (1:32:52 AM): And coming from what seems like out of nowhere is... a sword flying really quickly blade first at the scroll.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:33:41 AM): Yubel blinks, and spins around, blocking the sword with her other arm with about a second to spare. How on Earth...!?
Viewtiful Rekk (1:34:12 AM): "Took her long enough." On her other side, Jin has driven his sword into the scroll, and slashes at it, pulling it off of her arm.
Rakath Chaos (1:34:39 AM): "Sorry, its hard to aim a sword at that range," Amy says flying in, fully transformed.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:35:18 AM): "You....!" Jin kicks Yubel once in the gut, sending her back, and places his sword to his shoulder. Within a few seconds, a wing composed of light appears.
kwikkidus (1:35:26 AM): "You dragged your duel zombies en masse around one building with a beacon of dark power coming from it..." Zaniah shakes her head slightly. "Did you really think that would go ignored?"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:35:46 AM): "You lost, Melancholy. Just shut up and let us deal with this."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:36:22 AM): "Take Flight, Wing of the Adjudicator." Jin flaps the wing once, and it shatters, hundreds of blades of light raining towards Yubel.
Rakath Chaos (1:37:25 AM): Amy holds up a rather large halo, "Crown of the Angel Queen!" and tosses the large object at Yubel as well.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:38:19 AM): "Ngh....!" Yubel holds both of her arms up to defend. Her armor stops them from cutting too deep, but the pure force sends her over the edge.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:39:23 AM): The crown then strikes her head on. She lets out a single cough. Need to....destroy the mirror...!
Rakath Chaos (1:40:07 AM): The large halo shatters on contact, and smaller halos that made it up attack in a way much like the Wing of the Adjudicator.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:40:42 AM): Unfortunately, a green sword rises up and smashes her in the back, sending her skywards. Once there, both the swordsman and the smaller halos rain attacks on her seemingly without end.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:41:25 AM): "GREAT..." Amado raises his sword above his head. "AETHER!" He then brings it down, both himself and Yubel crashing back into the roof.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:41:34 AM): "....unoriginal morons..."
Rakath Chaos (1:41:39 AM): Amy picks up her sword and puts it back in its sheath, "I'll let those two have the more hands on fun."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:43:31 AM): "Hey, mine didn't need to be original, it kicked ass!" Amado says, hoisting his blade over his shoulder.
Rakath Chaos (1:43:57 AM): "Besides, we're saving you guys, quit bein' picky."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:44:34 AM): "Don't lump me in with that incompetent nurse."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:45:27 AM): "....hey guys."
Rakath Chaos (1:45:39 AM): "That 'unoriginal' move is how I saved everyone in the vault... It was good enough then."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:45:58 AM): "Wasn't there a mirror there just a second ag-AHGH!" A purple hand is tightly closed around Amado's throat.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:46:37 AM): Yubel then slams Amado into the ground, headfirst, as she gets back to her feet.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:47:04 AM): "Heh....you students certainly know how to strike when an opportunity arises..."
Rakath Chaos (1:47:31 AM): Amy pulls her sword and points it at Yubel, leveling it on her left arm, "PIERCE!" A beam fires from the sword's tip for Yubel's forehead.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:47:43 AM): "Oh god, I think she broke my entire face."
Rakath Chaos (1:47:51 AM): "Like that?"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:48:11 AM): Yubel grabs the beam in her hand, but her hand shudders after it's stricken.
kwikkidus (1:48:21 AM): Zaniah, in the meanwhile, has run her way over to Amado, putting a hand to his forehead. "Idiot..."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:48:22 AM): "So....you fight by draining energy, do you..."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:48:50 AM): Amado shoves Zaniah away as he pulls himself out of the hole his face created. "Back off, I'm fine!"
Rakath Chaos (1:49:00 AM): "More of a negation than a drain. But the basic idea is there, yeah."
kwikkidus (1:49:07 AM): "...of course."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:49:49 AM): Those blows....they managed to seriously hurt me... She grins a bit as she rises into the air.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:50:53 AM): "Amy, how many times can you preform that Crown technique?"
Rakath Chaos (1:51:45 AM): "I've never had to attempt a second.... but I think I can maybe pull out two more if I forgo attempting Judgment."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:52:18 AM): "...." He quirks an eyebrow. "What's Judgment?"
Viewtiful Rekk (1:52:39 AM): "Probably a ripoff of Kingdom Hearts or Tales of Symphonia or something..."
Rakath Chaos (1:53:05 AM): "You saw it yourself when you were on their side, remember?"

Rakath Chaos (1:54:14 AM): "For the record, Gundam Wing, but anyway, got a plan Jinny?"
Rakath Chaos (1:55:06 AM): Amy only has two halos floating around behind her right now, instead of her usual three.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:55:09 AM): "With the Mirror gone, she can defend herself with those vines...."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:55:39 AM): "That limits our options. Your blows seem to be able to pierce her defenses."
Rakath Chaos (1:56:14 AM): "Energy is energy, my attacks aren't like yours, remember?"
Rakath Chaos (1:56:29 AM): "She won't stand still for me again though."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:56:46 AM): "Which is why Tsukayama and I need to distract her."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:57:20 AM): The blades of light begin circling around Jin again. "....this is probably gonna end with her attacking my face again, isn't it...."
kwikkidus (1:58:08 AM): "Luckily, it seems to be incredibly resilient."
Rakath Chaos (1:58:16 AM): "You'll be fine." Amy stabs her sword into the ground, "I have a better shot of hitting with Crowns."
Viewtiful Rekk (1:59:12 AM): "This is your specialty, Tsukayama. Stop whining." The blades of light shoot up after Yubel.
Viewtiful Rekk (1:59:33 AM): "Easy for you to say, Mr. Long Range Angel Wing crap...." Amado grunts and leaps upwards, sword at the ready.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:00:20 AM): Yubel swings one of her wings in front of her to block Jin's blades....and just punches Amado in the face when he's in range.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:00:45 AM): "NGHGHSTOPDOINGTHAT!" Amado yells, and punches Yubel in the face himself, doing.....nothing.
Rakath Chaos (2:01:13 AM): One of Amy's halos grows larger as she gathers and readies for her attack.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:03:09 AM): "Well....how about THIS!?" Amado grabs Yubel by the neck. Suddenly, a tremendous gust of wind begins forcing them downwards.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:03:55 AM): "What the....!?" OHGODTOOFASTTOOFAST. Once again, the two smash into the roof....right next to the first hole they made.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:04:16 AM): Amado is thrown like a ragdoll again several seconds later
Rakath Chaos (2:05:11 AM): Amy spins in place and releases the large Halo like an Olympic Hammer, right after Amado is thrown like a Ragdoll, right for Yubel.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:05:58 AM): "Ha...ha...." Yubel then dashes for Jin and grabs him by the neck, before the large Halo smashes into her back, causing her to get a very pained expression on her face.
Rakath Chaos (2:06:51 AM): Again, the millions of tiny Halos swarm her again. As they do Amy's hair and eyes flicker back to normal for a few moments, then return to her seal state.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:07:01 AM): ....That gives me an idea. Jin signals to his blades. They all stop in the air. "Tsukayama. I could use some assistance." Her hand is still on his neck after all.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:07:36 AM): "Ugh...." Amado has gotten to his feet once more. "You guys are such assholes....!" Amado is running for Yubel once more.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:08:00 AM): Yubel lets out a snarl as two vines shoot from the ground and strike away the small halos, before shooting out for Amy.
Rakath Chaos (2:08:52 AM): Amy manages to block them with her wings, but she still gets knocked backwards by the attack, "Guys, keep her a little more busy!"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:08:54 AM): Amado leaps up and points his feet together as wind energy begins surrounding them. "TORNADO!" He shoots forward and....right past Yubel as she dodges.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:09:12 AM): She then, once more, sends a fist right into his face, slamming him on to the ground.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:11:11 AM): Jin, who managed to get himself freed when Yubel switched to Amado has muttered something, ending with... "Virus." The blades suddenly all turn black and shoot at Amado, attaching themselves to his sword.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:11:16 AM): "Tsukayama. Attack with that."
Rakath Chaos (2:11:50 AM): Amy tries again to focus on her Halo to make it grow larger. Watching that move and thinking, "Jin, ever seen Inu Yasha?"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:12:11 AM): "God, no."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:12:34 AM): "Dude, you're such a fuckin' Byakuya ripoff!"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:12:57 AM): Amado says this as he drives the sword upwards, managing to slash at Yubel's chest, and force her to back away.
Rakath Chaos (2:13:17 AM): "Tweedledee, how about you? I just need a back-up plan if she can dodge this last one."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:13:28 AM): "It's DBZ for girls. Fuck that."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:14:36 AM): "Isn't it still going?"
Rakath Chaos (2:15:54 AM): Amy's halo keeps growing larger, as she closes her eyes. "How would I know, I saw like two episodes with a friend. Well, I can't just shout the idea to you, then she'd see it coming."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:17:28 AM): While they're busy talking, vines are shooting up from the ground and attacking them.
Rakath Chaos (2:18:23 AM): Amy keeps jumping back, trying her best to avoid them, "Fine, I got something, just let me finish getting this one ready." using her free hand to slash at them awkwardly with her sword.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:19:02 AM): "AH, FUCK!" Amado slashes, punches, and kicks the vines away. The blades that didn't go to Amado's sword stop them from hitting Jin. "Tch. She's getting desperate..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:20:12 AM): Both of them can strike me....and that one keeps messing around with my ability to sense their energy.... Yubel glares down. If she strikes me with another of those halos...
Polk Kitsune (2:20:49 AM): "GGGNNN... BOLT!" And from behind, two voices shout out in unison, and in a sudden release, a lightning bolt suddeny charged straight at Yubel.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:21:27 AM): And.....bam. She takes one right in the side. "NNNNGH!"
Polk Kitsune (2:21:57 AM): From the back, Meso and Melissa were leaning up against each other, both hands smoking, breathing heavilly, barely coming back to consciousness. "Nngh..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:22:06 AM): Yubel seizes in air for a moment, until the lightning runs its courses, and she's flying just a bit funny. "Another....!?" She stares down at the newcomers.
Rakath Chaos (2:22:13 AM): Amy does another Hammerspin and tosses the Halo at Yubel while she's distracted, following by running after it!
kwikkidus (2:22:24 AM): "Oh... you two are awake..?"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:22:45 AM): Yubel's eyes widen, and she shoots to the side, narrowly dodging the Halo.
Polk Kitsune (2:22:55 AM): "Ngh... Not... a happy sight... To wake up to."
Rakath Chaos (2:23:22 AM): Amy's wings EXPLODE with power pushing her forward. Putting her opposite Yubel with the Halo between them, "SURPRISE!" and slashes the thing with her sword. Sending the shattered tiny Halo's at Yubel.
kwikkidus (2:23:47 AM): "Neither of you are Munos, then, I take it?"
Rakath Chaos (2:24:26 AM): Amy's transformation ends and she tumbles to the ground, "All I can offer up..." Amy is now asleep.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:24:31 AM): Yubel's eyes go wild as she sees the small halos racing towards her. I....will not....!
Polk Kitsune (2:24:51 AM): They both shook their heads, wincing a bit.
kwikkidus (2:25:02 AM): "Good..."
Polk Kitsune (2:25:42 AM): "Gone..." "Isabel..."
Polk Kitsune (2:26:21 AM): They both raised their hands once more, arms intercrossed as they tried to focus their energy one more. "Nnngh..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:26:34 AM): She pulls her wings tightly around her as the halos strike, taking a bit of her energy each time they hit.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:27:50 AM): "Right. Tell us later!" Amado leaps into the air again, bringing his sword upwards like a spear. Wind energy starts to rapidly gather around him. "GIGA....."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:28:33 AM): Yubel's wings suddenly pull back. "....ngh...." And with that, she falls right to the ground.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:28:57 AM): "STORM.......BREA-wait, what?!" The energy around Amado suddenly stops as he looks down.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:29:16 AM): "....Dude, is she knocked out right BEFORE my awesome killing blow!?"
Polk Kitsune (2:29:48 AM): Meso snerked, and the twins dropped their arms, both giving long, low sighs.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:31:22 AM): "...heh...heh...."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:31:54 AM): "You all fight with such ferocity...." Yubel is still smirking. "Why....do you fight me with such reckless disregard for your own safety...?"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:33:13 AM): Amado plants his sword into the ground.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:33:17 AM): "I fight for my friends."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:33:39 AM): Jin brings a palm to his face. "Imbecile..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:37:13 AM): "I fight because it's what I was raised to do." Jin crosses his arm. "And to deal justice to demons like yourself."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:38:41 AM): "...." Yubel laughs once and glows brightly, before turning to motes of light and scattering.
Polk Kitsune (2:39:18 AM): "Finally..." Meso sighed. "It's over..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:39:49 AM): When all of the motes are gone, there's no Yubel, no orb....no nothing.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:40:10 AM): The vines have at this point all turned to dust. All of the zombies below are unconscious.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:40:32 AM): "...." Amado brings a hand to his forehead. "....wow."
Polk Kitsune (2:40:38 AM): And with that, the twins slumped back once more, slowly closing their eyes, and started to slip back to dreamland.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:40:49 AM): "....Oi!" Amado shoots a look over at the two.
kwikkidus (2:40:53 AM): "Is everyone still alive?"
Viewtiful Rekk (2:41:17 AM): Jin takes Amy's pulse....and then smacks her across the face, just to make sure.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:41:24 AM): "Pretty sure this lump is alive."
Rakath Chaos (2:41:42 AM): Amy doesn't wake up, she's got a pulse (slow), and is breathing (slowly), but she's completely out.
Polk Kitsune (2:43:06 AM): Meso's eyes opened halfway through as he heard Amado's call. "Mmmph..."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:43:10 AM): "Yeah, she's alive." Jin picks her up.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:43:29 AM): "Wake up, ya jerkass, I ain't carrying ya both!" Amado kicks Meso.
Polk Kitsune (2:45:32 AM): "ACK!" Meso winced, grabbing his side. "Urgh... Careful... Body's been through a lot."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:45:48 AM): As he heads for the door, Jin glances at Zaniah.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:45:51 AM): "Nurse."
kwikkidus (2:46:34 AM): "I do not have time to speak with someone who finds me incompetent." She succinctly says, picking up Melissa.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:47:33 AM): He just smirks.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:47:47 AM): "I was merely going to suggest you check the Maeromune twins for injuries."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:47:55 AM): "Healing seems to be the one skill you have, after all."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:48:03 AM): With that, Jin heads for the door.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:48:15 AM): "....what a douche." Amado mutters.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:48:52 AM): "Dunno what Lily sees in him, grumble, mutter...." Amado grabs Meso by the leg and flips him over his shoulder.
kwikkidus (2:50:01 AM): "Everyone has their preferences." she coolly replies, cradling the girl. "...Though, in hindsight, perhaps I should have handled my strategy differently."
Polk Kitsune (2:50:28 AM): "Ack! Careful..." Meso cringed. Great, I get the insane one.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:51:31 AM): "Eeeh, I bet he just waited for me and Sullivan so he could show you up or something stupid like that..."
Polk Kitsune (2:51:53 AM): Melissa gently tilted onto the Hellnurse, with a peaceful expression on her face.
kwikkidus (2:51:57 AM): "It should not have come to that. I envy your drive."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:53:48 AM): Amado massages his face with his free hand. "Well...she was already injured when we got here."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:53:54 AM): "You probably did most of the hard stuff."
Polk Kitsune (2:54:41 AM): Meso sighed. "At least... it's all gone..." He looked toward Zaniah. "We have... a lot to explain, don't we?"
kwikkidus (2:54:56 AM): "...Tch." She smiles, just a little. "I think there will be ample time for explaining later."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:55:27 AM): There's a flash. Amado is holding up a camera phone.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:55:32 AM): "Caughtcha smiling!" He grins.
Polk Kitsune (2:55:42 AM): "... Amado..."
Polk Kitsune (2:55:45 AM): "Run."
kwikkidus (2:55:52 AM): And as quick as it was there, it disappeared. "You will be deleting that photo."
Viewtiful Rekk (2:56:17 AM): "Heeheehee!" He runs off.
Viewtiful Rekk (2:56:47 AM): "Don't worry sensei, when I reverse that seal thing, you'll be smiling aaaaaaaall the time!"
Polk Kitsune (2:57:09 AM): "ACK! Careful!" Meso held on tightly as he was carted off."
kwikkidus (2:57:09 AM): And the Hellnurse... just sighs. "...So damned cocky."
Polk Kitsune (2:57:52 AM): Melissa moved a little closer. "Thank... you..." She murmured quietly.
kwikkidus (2:58:31 AM): "You are welcome. Rest now, little one.."
Polk Kitsune (3:00:46 AM): The young girl, gently nodded off, and drifted off once more. "Mmmnn..."
Viewtiful Rekk (3:02:06 AM): Meanwhile...
Viewtiful Rekk (3:02:24 AM): Hundreds of motes of light slowly float towards the beach, before gathering together.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:02:35 AM): These humans are stronger than I thought....too strong for me to defeat as is...
Viewtiful Rekk (3:04:00 AM): ....I'm too weak...all of my strength is gone....
Viewtiful Rekk (3:04:09 AM): I need to hide....and regather myself....
Viewtiful Rekk (3:05:34 AM): ....I need to hide myself so deeply...that even I won't know I am myself...
Viewtiful Rekk (3:06:23 AM): With that the motes of light all form together....into a young girl with navy blue hair.
Viewtiful Rekk (3:07:49 AM): "...ngh...." She opens her eyes briefly. "wh...." She looks up. "...where...am I....?" Her eyes go wide in horror for a moment. "....ngh!"
Viewtiful Rekk (3:07:57 AM): She holds her chest tightly in pain and collapses back on to the beach, face down in the water.
