Viewtiful Rekk: Jin glanced down at his PDA, watching the duel that had been forwarded to him by Mylene for what had to be the fourth or higher time. ...Tch...why the hell did you send this to me...? Now I gotta tell Meso, or it's my ass....
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." A small sigh. Before he dialed in Meso's number and punched 'send'.
Polk Kitsune: "HELOOOoooooOOO!" Meso tapped on his PDA. "Who is it? What do you want?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "...It's Jin."
Viewtiful Rekk: "I have a question."
Polk Kitsune: He blinked, and frowned. "Yeah. Shoot. What is it? Arguing with my friend?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "No. I'm good at drowning out whatever inane chatter he offers."
Viewtiful Rekk: "I just wanna know why in the hell your sister attacked my sister."
Viewtiful Rekk: "And what's stopping me from finding her and bashing her skull into a wall about a dozen times."
Polk Kitsune: He shrugged. "Didn't have much choice, bub. Boss' order. Besides, she was only after the duel spirit."
Polk Kitsune: "And two, your sis already did enough to my sis, if you know how it ended."
Viewtiful Rekk: "Yeah. About that. Don't go after God Spirits, moron. That's not a power that humans should try to harness. Or demons as small-time as you either."
Polk Kitsune: "Blah blah blah. Too bad. Already got one. Are there any more insults you want to trade, minion?"
Viewtiful Rekk: He rubs his temple. "..Anyway. I have some news. Something that'll probably interest you."
Polk Kitsune: He blinks. "Huh huh? Really? Do tell."
Viewtiful Rekk: "You know that one girl in Osiris? Batolli?"
Polk Kitsune: "Yeah, pretty well..." He raised an eyebrow. "Did she get lost somewhere, ooorrr?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "Yeah. She's definetly working against you."
Polk Kitsune: "... Do tell. What tells you that?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "She's been helping Ed Finklestein and all of his friends."
Viewtiful Rekk: "She recorded the duel between our sisters and sent one copy to me, and one to Finklestein, and one to Amado Tsukayama."
Polk Kitsune: "... Really now? Why am I not surprised?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "Like I said. You're small-time."
Viewtiful Rekk: "It's a miracle you've kept her under your thumb this long."
Polk Kitsune: He snerked. "Yes, I guess she thought the hypnosis wouldn't do enough... She's crafty, as expected."
Polk Kitsune: "Everything's falling into place, really." He shook his head. "I beter go see her..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "Also." A smirk crawls on to Jin's face.
Viewtiful Rekk: "She's planning to exorcise you."
Polk Kitsune: "..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "That would be the ultimate defeat for you wouldn't it?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "Defeated by your own minion then sent back to whatever hovel you crawled out of."
Polk Kitsune: He snickered. "REALLY NOW? You think she hasn't threatened me enough with that? Even tried to reassure my host with her little teamwork?"
Polk Kitsune: "Why do you think I haven't finished her off already? Why do you think I'm not worried?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "Because you're too arrogant."
Viewtiful Rekk: "I do wonder. What if someone skilled in the arts of magic and sealing were to help her..."
Polk Kitsune: "You're talking to a demon, bub..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "A small-time one."
Viewtiful Rekk: "At any rate. She's in my dorm right now."
Polk Kitsune: He waved a finger. "Right, right... I'll be right over there!"
Viewtiful Rekk: "You do that." Jin smirks and hangs up.
Viewtiful Rekk: "Arrogant small-time bastard." He packs up a few things, and is out the door.
Polk Kitsune: He closed his PDA, grinning. Let the hunt begin...
Viewtiful Rekk: He closes the door. Let the goose chase begin...
Sinisquirrel: Some time later, in a garage somewhere (and not Jin's room, for those of you who can spot the obvious)...
Sinisquirrel: A certain blonde figure let out a sneeze, bonking her head against the underside of a muffler. "GHH!"
kwikkidus: "...You okay, rival?" Ed comments wryly, searching through the millions of tools that seemed to be around.
Sinisquirrel: "Yeeeeah!" came the reply, Mylene rolling out from under the truck's bed. "It's just, you know, ever get that feeling something bad was gonna happen?"
kwikkidus: "...Every now and again. Why?"
Sinisquirrel: "Eh, I just got that right now." With the roll of the wheels, she's back under, until a hand protrudes. "Number four Allen wrench, please."
kwikkidus: "...Number who what?"
Sinisquirrel: "S'at the top case... looks like an "L." Has a four on the side."
kwikkidus: "...Reeh... Right!" He grabs it, and hands the wrench over. "This one, right?"
Sinisquirrel: She doesn't exactly take the time to peek out from under her station. "Is it L-shaped?"
kwikkidus: "Yes."
Sinisquirrel: "Right, then. It should do." Her hand opens, prompting him to hand it over.
Polk Kitsune: A familiar hand came under the station, and handed the right tool to the girl. "This one, right?"
Sinisquirrel: "RiiiiAAAGH!" CLONG! Stars and other such shapes are seen as the panic attack is underway.
kwikkidus: "...Reeeh?"
Polk Kitsune: "HAHAHAHAHAAAAA! PERFECT!" Meso Lifted back up, grinning in Ed's direction. "You know you two were damn hard to track?"
kwikkidus: "...You..." He scowls. "You... demon... thing. It's about time you showed up."
Sinisquirrel: Mylene slowly rolls out from under the truck, a hand rubbing her head as she wobbles over to Ed. When she's steady, she lets out an echoing "Yeah!" of agreement.
Polk Kitsune: "... So you know. I wonder how many do know. Anyhow..." He waved his hand. "If you don't mind, I'll be taking my little pet here back with me."
Polk Kitsune: "She's been very, very naughty." He grinned visciously, his hands squeezing into fists. "And needs some proper punishment..."
kwikkidus: "...I'm afraid I mind, Meso. Or should I call you Munos? I prefer being formal..." He pulls out a gnared wooden magin' staff, with runic inscriptions! And prettyness! "She's not your pet anymore."
Sinisquirrel: "Right! I'm not going back with you!" Then, quickly, a whisper: "What about Melissa?"
Polk Kitsune: Melissa peeked over Ed's shoulder. "Oooohhhh~! Pretty~!" She giggled cheerfully.
Polk Kitsune: She whispered to Ed. "I like whispering too."
Sinisquirrel: "GHHK!" Oops. Spoke too soon.
Viewtiful Rekk: Suddenly, one of the garage doors opens....and Jin peeks in.
Sinisquirrel: "... they're coming out of the woodwork!" Mylene cries, spotting Jin at the door as she rears back from Melissa on Ed's shoulder.
Viewtiful Rekk: "...Oh hell, he's already here." He grumbles, and begins an attempt to sneak back out before noti... "...Dammit."
kwikkidus: "..." an eyetwitch. "I'm not scared of you. Regardless of what you did last time... I'm not scared!"
Polk Kitsune: He snickered, noticing Jin peeking. "Come on in, minion..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." A sigh. He walks in and shuts the door behind him.
Polk Kitsune: "Goood..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "I'm not your minion, you small time bastard..."
Polk Kitsune: "Blah blah blah. Contrat's still signed, bub..."
Sinisquirrel: "..." Mylene sighed... Jin seemed to be possessed of his own mind, but still under Meso's control? Yeah. She could sympathize.
Viewtiful Rekk: A smirk. "We'll see how your contract keeps after you're back where you belong."
Polk Kitsune: "Now..." He looked at the pair, smirking as he aproached. "Time for me to get my pet back..."
kwikkidus: "...I don't think so!" He spins the staff forward. "Meso! Rival and I challenge you two to a duel!"
Polk Kitsune: Meso froze in his tracks. "What?... What was that?"
kwikkidus: "We. Challenge you. To a duel."
Sinisquirrel: Mylene grows defiant, glaring at Meso. "Did he STUTTER?"
Viewtiful Rekk: A smirk. Bingo.
Polk Kitsune: Melissa giggled, tapping her hands. "I know what this means!" She hopped in place. "Fun fun fun fun!"
Sinisquirrel: "You, and Melissa."
Polk Kitsune: "Me... And Melissa, huh?"
Polk Kitsune: "Now why would you want to duel the both of us, huh?"
kwikkidus: "...That way there won't be anywhere for you two to run to when you're weakened after we kick your butt.."
Sinisquirrel: "And after that, nobody will be your 'pet,' or anything else, ever again."
kwikkidus: "Abusing other people... crushing their hopes and dreams and forcing them to be subordinate to you... it ends today, Munos."
Polk Kitsune: Meso... Or rather, Munos, smirked, and gave a nod. "Sure, sure, blah blah blah..." He shook his head. "Big talk for squirts."
Viewtiful Rekk: "If I may interject..."
Viewtiful Rekk: Jin points a finger at Ed. "He's beaten you before, or so I've heard."
kwikkidus: "...Peh. It gets better. You two get weak after just losing a duel. So... I'm going to up the ante a little." The staff starts to glow a plethora of colors, including some that aren't even colors.
Sinisquirrel: "Hmph! That's why I'm here... this isn't something that can be done alone."
Polk Kitsune: Meso snickered, his smirk only growing as the glow got brighter. "Oooohhh. Scary..."
Polk Kitsune: "Ooooohhh~<3 SHINEY! Hehehehe." Melissa came back toward Meso, watching the staff with wide eyes.
kwikkidus: "Well... not by me, anyways..." He puts out his right hand, reaching it in Mylene's general direction, as he starts chanting. And the glow gets bigger, as a small circle forms under himself, expanding slowly outward.
Sinisquirrel: Mylene takes Ed's hand, assuming it would be as he wished, allowing him permission to take what he needs.
Viewtiful Rekk: "Impressive...."
Polk Kitsune: His eyes narrowed. "I knew it... You're perfect." He licked his lips hungrily.
Viewtiful Rekk: "...Hey Finklestein."
kwikkidus: "...Talk later." The chanting resumes, and the entire room is rather soon inside of a big, glowy circle. Complete with lighting effects that somehow look like cherry blossoms.
Polk Kitsune: He whispered. "Just as planned..."
kwikkidus: There's a bright flash of light, and everyone in the room, next thing anyone knows, is near a tree, in the middle of a large, grassy field. "...Mmm..." He falls over to one knee, panting for breath.
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." Sweatdrop. "How much experience do you two have with conjuring Shadow Games anyway...?"
Sinisquirrel: As would she, but Mylene would rather try to keep their inner morale up by trying to look stronger than she felt, only falling part way. Wow... that's like... a kick to the stomach.
kwikkidus: "This... was my first." Another pant for breath, and he stands up, shaking his head and breathing heavily."Don't worry... I'm fine."
Polk Kitsune: Melissa looked around in amazement. "Uwaaaaaa... Pretty..."
Sinisquirrel: "S-still gonna be able to do this, partner?"
Polk Kitsune: "Nice... Pretty nice, kid. I knew you had it in you. Nice place for a shadow game..." He grinned wickedly. "A pure place for me to corrupt."
Sinisquirrel: A smirk. "Corrupt? I don't think so."
kwikkidus: "...I won't let you corrupt this place. It's... important to my memories. And I won't let anything happen here."
Sinisquirrel: "It's also... 'the zone of equality,' right?" Mylene looks at Ed, letting go of his hand.
Polk Kitsune: A snicker once more. "And you're willing to bring us here?" He shook his head. "How touching. Bleh."
Polk Kitsune: "To bring us all here... You must be getting serious. Mwehehehe." He glared at Ed. "Then it's time for me to get serious myself."
kwikkidus: "Mmm, exactly." he nods. "I'm deadly serious... to bring you to this spot. Now then." His disc activates. "We're going to start, right?"
Polk Kitsune: He waved a finger, shaking his head. "Without letting me set up properly? Now now, what manners you have. After you spent so much time getting us here..."
Polk Kitsune: "It took so long for me to get you to pull this off. I wouldn't want to slip just when I'm about to take over the both of you."
Sinisquirrel: Mylene fires up hers as well, slipping her deck in. "Hmph. You're one to talk."
kwikkidus: "...Make it quick." He continues panting for breath, finally getting over the initial exertion.
Polk Kitsune: "Fine..." He pulled out his duel disk in one hand, and in the other... the infamous rubber chicken.
Polk Kitsune: After putting the duel disk on, he looked at the toy, and gripped into it tightly as the rubber tore to pieces and opened, revealing a pure black orb.
Polk Kitsune: A quick swipe of his hand, and the orb was now in the duel disk. "There... This game should be enough to release a few of them."
kwikkidus: "...Reeh?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." Jin's eyes narrow.
Viewtiful Rekk: "Be careful. That's where he keeps his friends."
Sinisquirrel: "E-eh? EHH!?" She looked from Jin to the now-sunken orb, shocked because she'd had NO idea that's where he kept his power, despite seeing 'Alfredo' so many times.
Polk Kitsune: He raised the disk in the air, and a cracking sound came out as black tendrils shot forth, wrapping around the equipment, twisting it, reshaping it, turning the silver into a shining black color.
kwikkidus: "...You're not supposed to have any cool tricks. That's what I'm supposed to have!"
Sinisquirrel: "I kinda don't think that's important now, Ed!"
Polk Kitsune: And as the changes finished, shadows started to erupt for the orb, gathering around Meso and Melissa, each one with glowing red eyes and teeth that would make a dinosaur jealous, all cackling evilly.
kwikkidus: "...So then, we agree on terms for this duel, right here and now."
Viewtiful Rekk: "...." Jin pulls out his short sword, and plants the blade into the ground. He then crouches down, and begins mumbling.....something. Whatever it is, at this point, he's in a trance.
Polk Kitsune: Munos snickered along with them. "Do tell..." He looked at the shadows. "It's been a while since my minions had a day out of the orb of chaos..."
kwikkidus: "When we win, we're going to kick you and that other demon out of Meso and Melissa! You're not going to be able to call Mylene 'pet' anymore, and you're gonna be banished right back to whatever pit spawned you!" A dramatic point!
Sinisquirrel: "What about Jin?"
kwikkidus: "...Oh, yeah, him too, I guess! He's not your pet anymore either!"
Sinisquirrel: "..." Close enough. After all, she did feel some sympathy for the Obelisk.
Polk Kitsune: He snickered. "So be it... But when we win, my deal little mortal, my friends are going to take over your bodies, minds and souls" A black tentacle wrapped around his leg.
Polk Kitsune: "Just like I have little Meso here. My servants..."
Polk Kitsune: "And all your powers will be mine... Yesss...."
Sinisquirrel: "... are you sure about it, Ed? I mean... I was resigned to that, being under his control forever... but you..."
kwikkidus: "I gave my word. To back out now would be ignoble... And besides..." He smiles widely. "I'm not going to lose. I know alllll about him."
Polk Kitsune: He waved a finger. "No, my dear pet. This fate would be much deeper. "In fact, this is all that I wanted since I got my hands on this body."
Sinisquirrel: "... eh?"
Polk Kitsune: "A spellcaster, specialised in bending realities and summoning, to release my brethens from this acursed orb... And a weapon specialist, giving us power that no one on this plane of existence could attain. Yeesssss."
Polk Kitsune: "And with all the powers the demons will feed you two..." His eyes almost seemed to glow red like the other demons. "We're going to make the world squeal in pain, horror and misery."
Polk Kitsune: "We're literally going to make a living Hell."
Sinisquirrel: She gulped. "Then... we know what the terms are."
kwikkidus: "I swear on what little nobility I have...On the sacrifice Mobius made... and on Doriado, who you stole from me... I swear I'm going to finish you off. Once and for all."
Polk Kitsune: "And it all comes down to this..."
Polk Kitsune: The tentacles wrapped around Melissa, who somehow didn't seem as cheerful and bright as always, but almost as twisted as Munos as they crawled under her skin.
kwikkidus: "...Are you two ready yet?"
Polk Kitsune: Munos grinned. "Yes... Get angry, that's right. That's exactly why I targeted you from the very beginning. Why I planted everything, fixed all my losses... Yessss..."
Sinisquirrel: Melissa... Meso... what are they doing to you now? Mylene wonders, watching Melissa's expression change.
kwikkidus: "...Angry? I'm just wondering if you're done."
Polk Kitsune: He looked back at the shadows. "Pull him out, NOW!" As he finished the words, a tentacle pulled out from the body, dragging back the spirit of the host, squirming and stuggling against them.
Polk Kitsune: "Perfect... no more distractions. You play with him as you please, boys." Munos grinned back toward Ed. "Yes... Finally ready."
Sinisquirrel: "!! Meso!" Mylene glares as Munos. "What've you done to him!?"
Polk Kitsune: He shrugged, grinning still. "Getting rid of anything getting in my way. You should have heard him screaming in my head. It's annoying!"
Polk Kitsune: "Besides, my minions need a good chewtoy to pass the time..."
kwikkidus: "...Rrr...." Ed scowls, then points straight at the demon. "There's no creulty upon sacred grounds as this! Any cheating will be seriously punished. You'd do best to remember that!"
Polk Kitsune: He smirked. "I remember that. Beleive me, I know shadow games."
Polk Kitsune: "In fact, I took him out so I didn't get any help from him. And I haven't trigered 'Mimi' either. It's all good, all good."
Sinisquirrel: "Meso..." How dare he mention that name!? A small growl came from the girl, as well as a quick, silent prayer, before her head shot up. "Then let's go!"
kwikkidus: "...Right then. We'll see who moves when in the usual method."
Polk Kitsune: The twins both pulled their decks out, and in synch, placed them in. "Duel!"
Polk Kitsune: Melissa pulled six cards. "I'll start! KYA!"
Sinisquirrel: "Mff." Mylene draws five.
kwikkidus: "Heh... I'm last, then." Ed too draws five.
Polk Kitsune: Munos smirked. "Always the ladies first, of course..."
kwikkidus: "... Age before beauty, then?"
Sinisquirrel: "... what're you suggesting, Ed?" A wry smile was shot towards her partner.
kwikkidus: "...Reeh! Nonono... I meant that... They're old!"
kwikkidus: "...And of course that I at least am prettier than Munos."
Polk Kitsune: She smirked. "I'll start with Toon Table of Contents! This lets me fetch a Toon card from my deck, and place it in my hand!"
Sinisquirrel: "... erk." No time to worry about chit-chat now. Mylene was fairly sure just what that Toon Table of Contents was going to search, and when it did... Bad, right in the first move!
Polk Kitsune: She pulled a card, and placed it in the field. "Letting me grab and summon my first Toon monster! Toon Goblin Attack Force!" (2300/0)
Polk Kitsune: She giggled. "And that will end my turn!"
Sinisquirrel: ... not Toon World? That's... weird... "Draw!" Mylene took a card from her disk, and assessed her hand.
kwikkidus: I'm willing to bet she's got that Toon World card in her hand already... Next turn, she should play it, and then attack directly with Toon Goblin Attack Force.
Sinisquirrel: Well, just in case... "I'll lay one monster in face-down Defense Position." The back of a card appeared. "I'll also set one reverse, and end my turn." Another card appeared behind the first.
Polk Kitsune: Munos shook his head. "It's true... I have about a few thousand years over you children... But demons are always very, very handsome, I'll have you know."
kwikkidus: "Are you going to make your move..?"
Polk Kitsune: "Of course... DRAW!"
Polk Kitsune: "I'l start by summoning Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World." (1600/1300)
Polk Kitsune: "And set two facedowns. That will end my turn..."
kwikkidus: "Then I draw!"
kwikkidus: Meso... you've got Bark Of Dark Ruler and something else... probably the Blast With Chain. Melissa, you've got a Toon World in hand... How to procceed? Ahh. "I set a monster, and two cards facedown. Go, Melissa!"
Polk Kitsune: Melissa smiled, and pulled a card. "DRAW!"
Polk Kitsune: She looked at the field a moment, then back at Munos, who simply gave a nod. "Okay! Toon Goblin Attack Force! Attack Mimi's facedown defender!"
kwikkidus: "...Reeh?"
Sinisquirrel: "I don't think so! Activate Trap Card -- Gravity Bind!" A glowing green net shoots up and over the field, holding down all monsters that were level four and above.
Polk Kitsune: She blinked. "Uwaaa? Noooo!" She squirmed visibly as the Toons flatened right against the net, as if meeting a huge glass wall, and fell flat on their backs.
kwikkidus: "Good cover, rival..." A nod from her partner.
Sinisquirrel: "Mmn." But Melissa's turn wasn't over yet.
Polk Kitsune: She looked visibly disappointed. "Nooo... Oh well!" She cheered right back up. "I'll summon Toon Gemini Elf!"
Polk Kitsune: She giggled as the two appeared on each side of her. (1900/900) She wrapped her arms around their shoulders, and giggled. "KYAAA!"
Polk Kitsune: "That ends my turn!" She winked in Mylene's direction.
Sinisquirrel: "Ghh!" Mylene shivers at the wink. Her hand then goes to her deck. "Draw!"
Sinisquirrel: So, she still hasn't played that yet... but that's okay. "I Flip Summon Swarm of Locusts!" (1000/500) Mylene's prior face-down card flips over, revealing a huge swarm of winged insects, who shine and head towards Meso.
Polk Kitsune: He raised an eyebrow. "Nani?"
Sinisquirrel: "Thanks to their effect, whenever they're Flip Summoned, I get to choose an opponent's Spell or Trap Card to destroy... and I choose your left face-down!"
Polk Kitsune: He covered his face as the swarm went right through his left card, tearing through the Bark of Dark Ruler that was facedown. "Dammit..."
kwikkidus: A smirk from Ed. "Bingo.."
Sinisquirrel: "Hmph." Mylene nodded. In the same Main Phase, I flip them back into face-down Defense Position..." The swarm retreats back to its faceless state. And I set another face-down defender."
Sinisquirrel: "Finally, I'll end my turn by activating the Spell Card, Wave Motion Cannon!" A huge, green, jeweled cannon pops up in front of Mylene. "Your go."
Polk Kitsune: "You'll regret that... Draw!"
Polk Kitsune: He raised an eyebrow, and gave a grin. "Oh perfect..."
Polk Kitsune: "I play the spell card... Heavy Storm!"
kwikkidus: "...reeh." There's none from the short Osiris.
Sinisquirrel: "Aw!" None from the other, either, as her Gravity Bind and counterless Wave-Motion Cannon are destroyed.
Polk Kitsune: Munos grinned, and pressed another button. As he did, his facedown card flipped, and a chain snapped right around Ed's facedown monster, the stick of dynamite on the end lit up.
Polk Kitsune: "And in response... Blast with Chain..."
kwikkidus: "...Sometimes, I hate it when I'm right."
Polk Kitsune: As the whole field of spell and trap cards were leveled, the dynamite exploded, along with the facedown monster.
kwikkidus: Giant rat is quickly asploded.
Sinisquirrel: "Well... either way..." If I had destroyed it with my Locusts, then it would have still gone off.
Polk Kitsune: "Now Beiige... Do me a favor, and attack that facedown Swarm of Locusts."
Polk Kitsune: The demon lunged forward, swinging its spear right through the card.
Polk Kitsune: "Good..."
Polk Kitsune: "I'll set two facedown cards... And that will do for me."
kwikkidus: "I draw, then!"
kwikkidus: "I have to set a monster in defense mode... And end. In that order."
Polk Kitsune: Melissa giggled hapilly, raising a fist in the air. "Now it's my turn! Draw!"
Polk Kitsune: She giggled. "Now it's time! For the magical, the wonderful, the silly, the adorable... TOON WORLD!"
Sinisquirrel: ... "Knew it."
Polk Kitsune: The pop up book appeared on the field in all its cartoony glory. (15000)
Polk Kitsune: "NOW! Toon Gemini Elves! Attack Ed directly!"
kwikkidus: "Reehh?!"
Polk Kitsune: The two elves quietly tiptoed over the face-down monster, smiling right in Ed's face, and suddenly brought their knees up to his guts.
kwikkidus: "OW!" (14100)
Polk Kitsune: "And their special effect activates! Whenever they deal damage to a player, they get to grab one card from their hand, and make them discard it!"
Sinisquirrel: "Gh..." Poor Ed... suffering the first blow.
Polk Kitsune: The evles smiled, and grabbed Ed's middle card, laughing happily, and slid it into the Graveyard.
kwikkidus: "Miyabi... a card I couldn't use right now anyway."
Polk Kitsune: "And now! Toon Goblin Attack Force! Attack Mylene directly! Gangbang her properly!"

Sinisquirrel: "Then, I'll let him rest for a bit." It flies back into face-down Defense Position. "Time to say hello to a new friend, more helpful to me than to you, for sure... Des Lacooda!" (500/600)

Sinisquirrel: The zombie camel arched up, a card coming to Mylene's hand. "I take the help I can get."

Sinisquirrel: But that was clever. She took advantage of Nightmare's Steelcage by summoning a monster that couldn't have attacked this turn anyway due to Soul Exchange's effect.
Polk Kitsune: She tilted her head. "And that ends my turn."

Sinisquirrel: As the female dancer appears, Nightmare's Steelcage disappears.

Polk Kitsune: He looked at his hand a moment. "This is no help... I play the magic card: Card Destruction!"

Sinisquirrel: Mylene doesn't seem to care much as she releases her two cards to the Graveyard, and draws a new pair.
kwikkidus: He discards his two cards, and draws two instead. "Didn't you get totally destroyed after this move last time?"
Polk Kitsune: Meso and Melissa tossed down two cards each, and pulled two more.

Sinisquirrel: "Yeah, see..." She looks at Munos. "I know you by now. I knew you'd attack me if you thought I was weak. It's what you've always done."

kwikkidus: Ed activates a facedown card, and Thestalos is engulfed in flames. "I chain, Spiritual Fire Art Kurenai!"
kwikkidus: "Then, I chain to that, Book of Moon, to protect my Sasuke Samurai #2!" The book appears in front of the Samurai.
kwikkidus: Samurai reads the book, then falls asleep,flipping facedown... And Thestalos launches itself right at the twins,in a gyser of fire.

Sinisquirrel: The Puppeteer doesn't even put up a fight with the Elves as his puppet is smashed, himself following right after.
Polk Kitsune: She gave a small nod. "I'll set two facedown cards, and that will end my turn!"
Sinisquirrel: She nods. "Draw!"
Sinisquirrel: She looks over her hand carefully, eyeing the two face-down cards on Melissa's field. One of them could be... and normally I'd like to wait for a Locust to remove the threat, but... "I flip summon Guardian Sphinx!" (1700/2400)

Sinisquirrel: "Oh, it can be." Mylene says, nodding as she slips into the Battle Phase. "I'll admit it, though... for a genius, I was pretty stupid."
Sinisquirrel: "I thought I could handle it all myself. 'If I can just hold out, do what he says, I can make it happen, someday.' But..." she shakes her head. "I was wrong."
Sinisquirrel: "I needed the help of other people. I needed to swallow my pride and admit I couldn't handle it myself. This duel was proof of that... and because I could, I can finally have my best friends back."
Sinisquirrel: "So... I'm sorry for this, but it has to be done." Mylene looks up, and points. "Guardian Sphinx! Attack Munos directly! Guardian Impact!" The Sphinx rears up with a giant paw, swiping at Munos.
Polk Kitsune: Munos' eyes glowed brighter as he took a step back toward the shadows. "Gh... NO!" His eyes went wide, and he was flung away to the ground by the attack, falling flat down. (0)
kwikkidus: "...And that's game." Ed again draws forth the staff, this time along with two little pieces of paper with various kanji on them. "How's it feel, demon?"
Polk Kitsune: Munos snickered, and his hands twitched as he lay down. "Gh... Gh..."
Sinisquirrel: "... we did it..." Mylene looks over to Ed as her cards fade away. "Ed... you're sure you can...?"
kwikkidus: A nod, before he takes advantage of theprobable downtime after the loss to throw one of the tags at each of them. "And now, neither of you are going to do a darn thing to anyone ever again!"
Viewtiful Rekk: "...." Jin stands up, plucking his short sword from the ground as he does. "...So. This will pull him out of those bodies then, will it?"
Sinisquirrel: "I hope so..."
Polk Kitsune: Both bodies froze in place as the papers touched them. Muttering voices came from the shadows as they squirmed around, looking at the humans.
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." Jin looks around at the various shadows. "...Tch. I think you forgot to take his friends into account."
kwikkidus: "...Mmm." He begins chanting in latin, bright shiney circles appearing this time under the twins. His eyes are shut, and he's trying very hard to maintain focus.
Polk Kitsune: Munos' lips trembled as he looked toward Ed. "This... is... far... from... ov...er..."
Sinisquirrel: With that in mind, the short blonde, feeling just a tad anxious with those shadows hovering, keeps quiet... and prays.
kwikkidus: "A smirk, as he finishes the incantation and the circles begin to close in around the two. "Bull."
Polk Kitsune: Munos grinned wickedly as the circles closed in. "Because... if you're pulling me out..." A chain came from the body, pulling on a hand that seemed limp.
Polk Kitsune: "I'm pulling HIM... with me... My firends will make sure of that..."
Polk Kitsune: "Always have... A back door... they say. Hehehehe..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "...Oi. What a sore loser..." Jin says, almost seeming disinterested in what that means.
Sinisquirrel: "What!? N-no you won't!" Making what could possibly be a foolish run, Mylene dashes for the body, taking hold of a hand.
Viewtiful Rekk: "...Finklestein. Miss Batolli. Do you have any ways to save him that can take effect in the next five or so seconds?"
kwikkidus: "...Mmm.... not off the top of my head. "The circle closes anyways... it's a liiittle late for a reversal. Which ellicits a sweatdrop from Ed.
Sinisquirrel: "How dare you try to renege! After all of our work, all of their suffering!" The Miss Batolli in question is on the other side of the field by now.
Polk Kitsune: Munos snickered, his eyes growing wide. "I will never surrender. Not to you, not to anyone... I'll be back, mark my words... And your friend's soul will make sure of that."
kwikkidus: "...Wait a minute." Suddenly, the winds are quiet. Too quiet. "Did you forget where we are, Munos?"
Polk Kitsune: He blinked. "Huh?"
Sinisquirrel: Mylene, now holding one of each hand of the twins, looks up. "Eh...? ... that's right!"
kwikkidus: "...We're in the zone of balance here. And you're trying to break your word... The elements don't like that."
Viewtiful Rekk: "...?" Jin was about to do something, but stops. "...Zone of balance?"
Polk Kitsune: "... That... That can't be. I never said anything about leaving this one's soul alone!"
kwikkidus: "...Mmm. Any pet that you had... I believe Meso would count, no?"
Sinisquirrel: "And Jin was included in our win pact as well... so just leave already! You lost, deal with it!"
Polk Kitsune: "... GH! No... NO!" He glared around, the chain trying to hold on tigthtly to the limp hand.
Sinisquirrel: Which was also held by Mylene's. "... let go, stupid."
kwikkidus: There's suddenly a storm. Not just a storm. A fiery rainy lightningy windy doom storm. "...Last chance to go quietly, Munos."
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." Jin smirks."Didn't I warn you your own arrogance would be your downfall? Arrogant small-time bastard."
Polk Kitsune: "So... Close... DAMMIT!" Munos' face twisted into rage, and he finally let go, covering Meso's whole body in black for an instant before it slithered into the corrupted duel disk.
Sinisquirrel: A black which felt... all sorts of kinds of sticky and evil across her hand, but regardless, she did not let go. At this point, she'd rather lose her hand than loosen her grip.
kwikkidus: "...." the circles go away, and with them,too, the process is finished. Ed slumps over onto a knee again, gasping for breath. "reeehhh..."
Polk Kitsune: A small shadow slithered out of Jin's ear, screeching in pain as it too, slides into the blackness.
Viewtiful Rekk: Jin's eyes follow the demon as it vacates his body and slithers off.
Viewtiful Rekk: "...Heh. All according to plan."
Polk Kitsune: Soon, the shadows created by the orb od chaos faded, and the transformed duel disk crumbled into pieces, leaving only an orb of pure black, and scattered cards all around. It's deal all done for now.
Sinisquirrel: Which means that one pair of lavender eyes are flicking back and forth across the faces of her friends-- first Meso's, then Melissa's, then Ed's. "E... er..." What happens now?
Polk Kitsune: Both twins layed on the grassy field, unmoving, exept for a slow, heavy breathing coming, the only sign of life they seemed to show for now.
Viewtiful Rekk: "...I doubt they're waking up for a while. Odds are that was a rather stressful experience."
Sinisquirrel: "Oh... right..." She sounds almost disappointed, but shakes her head, remembering that there are more important things. "Ed? You all right?"
kwikkidus: "...I think... I wanna... dispel this field..." he pants out, between gasping breaths. "Yeah.. Mylene... I'm fine. Just winded..."
Sinisquirrel: "Mmn... y-yeah... let's go... home."
kwikkidus: "...Nnh. Right, then..." The field slowly dissolves, leaving them right back in the garage they started at."T...Tired..." Thunk. He's on the ground.
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." Jin walks over to the unconcious twins, and kneels down next to Meso. He rubs his chin, as if he's considering something.
Sinisquirrel: "Ed, you--" Jin, distracting. She looks up. "W-what?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "....I'm just wondering if I should do something."
Sinisquirrel: "Like...?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "..What do you think the odds are of Munos coming back?"
Sinisquirrel: She shakes her head. "I... wouldn't know. I'm an inventor, not a spellcaster."
kwikkidus: Gasping "reeeh"s for breath, as Ed is... asleep.
Polk Kitsune: Meso's face seemed to 'scrunch' in pain a second, and with a groan, his eyes sleepily half opened. "Huuuuuuhh..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "....Huh. Thought you'd be out for a few more hours at least."
Sinisquirrel: Mylene looks down, quietly speaking. "You shouldn't move too much... rest... we'll take care of you."
Polk Kitsune: He trembled, giving a groan. "Urgh..." He was tired, exhausted, bruised and mentally scarred, but he had to know. His head looked toward Mylene. "Is... Is it... o... ov-er?"
Sinisquirrel: A nod, and a tear or two. "Yeah... it is... and for your sister, too. Now... rest."
Polk Kitsune: Hearing those words, the boy stopped struggling against the embrace of rest, his eyes closing once more, pulling a small smile as he muterred. "I'm... glad..."
Polk Kitsune: And for the first time in a long, long time, fell peacefully asleep.
Sinisquirrel: And she finally relaxed. But, one question remained... "... how are we gonna get 'em all out of here?"
kwikkidus: "Zzz...."
Viewtiful Rekk: "..." Jin shoots a glance at Ed.
Viewtiful Rekk: "We can just come back for him."
Viewtiful Rekk: "But first....do you have any ink or anything around here?"
Sinisquirrel: "Ink?" Mylene thinks. "Uhm, right!" The hand on Meso finally lets go, rummaging around in her pants pocket. After a moment, she produces a pen. "Will this do?"
Viewtiful Rekk: Jin nods. "Thank you." He takes the pen, before looking at Meso for a second... and then lifting his shirt up a bit. He then begins writing... something on his skin.
Viewtiful Rekk: Once he's done writing, he picks up his short sword. The tip begins glowing white. "....This is probably going to hurt." He mumbles, before making one incision....then another....and a third.
Sinisquirrel: Mylene lets go of Melissa's hand gently, placing it on the ground before she walks cautiously over to Ed, picking the shorter up. That much, she can do.
kwikkidus: Ed is indeed picked up. "...Ruuh... smells like.. mmm." A smile.
Sinisquirrel: "... don't get any ideas. It's just 'cause I can't leave you behind after all you've done," she mutters.
Viewtiful Rekk: "...Oi. Miss Batolli." Jin says as he works.
Sinisquirrel: "Y-yes?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "I should probably apply this to you too at some point."
Polk Kitsune: Meso's body flinched in pain at each inscision, but was far too weak to do anything about it, even less conscious of the fact.

Sinisquirrel: "What is it, exactly?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "Well...I'm not all too experienced with sealing... but if I'm doing it right, it means Munos won't be able to exist in this realm as long as anyone wearing this seal is alive and concious."
Sinisquirrel: "A-ah..." She nods. "Maybe after we move them?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "...That...may be a good idea..." Jin pauses. "Heh...." He glances up at Mylene, before tilting to the side slightly. "Sorry...I didn't consider...how much energy it would take to cast this...."
Viewtiful Rekk: Thunk. "Zzzz...."
Sinisquirrel: "... EHHH!? What about Melissa!? ... And how'm I supposed t'move ALL of you!?"
Sinisquirrel: Her cries were probably for naught, though, and as the exasperated Osiris looked around... an idea was had. "Right! They have friends!"
Sinisquirrel: And so it was that the last one standing would (after setting him down) rifle through Ed's bag (because it was closest), get out his PDA, and start calling up his friends list.
Viewtiful Rekk: One of them answers. "ED! I JUST FIGURED OUT SOMETHING HORRIBLE!"
Viewtiful Rekk: "JIN IS WORKING FOR MESO!"
Sinisquirrel: "Uh... not any more." Someone who is NOT Ed answers.
Viewtiful Rekk: "...."
Viewtiful Rekk: "Oh god....YOU KILLED ED!"
Sinisquirrel: "WHAT!? I did not! He's just asleep!" She points the screen at the snoring Osiris.

Sinisquirrel: "... This is where I stop listening and start talking." She swears she can feel one (or maybe several) of her hairs turn gray. "Look, I need your help, and anyone else you can get..."
Sinisquirrel: "We just got out of a shadow game, and everyone's asleep and I can't move them!"
Viewtiful Rekk: "...Oi..." Amado sighs. "Lesse....Casey's stupid, he's probably good at heavy lifting." He dials Casey's number and hits 'send'.
Polk Kitsune: Casey groaned as he answered the call, his hair half-messed up. "Huh? What is it?"
Sinisquirrel: Which was likely the fault of the girl beside him. "Aww, a phone call NOW!? Casey, you shoulda turned that thing off."
Viewtiful Rekk: Somewhere, Alastor suddenly sobs uncontrollably. That is all.
Polk Kitsune: He looked back toward the girl. "I tried, dear, but it seems they need my help or something."
Viewtiful Rekk: "Hey stupid. I need your help moving some people. Go to....." He goes back to the call with Mylene. "Where're you guys again?"
Sinisquirrel: "The parking garage, behind the cafeteria."
Viewtiful Rekk: "Kay." Back to Casey. "Go to the garage, stupid."
Polk Kitsune: Back to Amado. "Huh? Rigth, right..." He mumbles. "Just let me get my clothes back on..."
Sinisquirrel: "Hmph! Then I guess I'd better go, too."
Sinisquirrel: "We need to move Jin and Ed and Meso and Melissa..."
Viewtiful Rekk: "...." Back to Mylene. "Wait. Move who?"
Sinisquirrel: "Uhh... Jin, Ed, Meso and Melissa?"
Viewtiful Rekk: "...." He hangs up.
Sinisquirrel: "... EEH!? You bastard!" She re-sends the number. "Nobody hangs up on a Batolli!"
Viewtiful Rekk: Casey should hear a "HOLD ON ED, I'M-A COMIN'!" From the halls as a certain someone charges towards the garage.
Polk Kitsune: He blinked. "... Okay..."
Sinisquirrel: "Sychophantic weirdo."
Polk Kitsune: "That, and a lot of other things. I know."
Polk Kitsune: Back to Hiita. "Guess we beter hurry then."
Sinisquirrel: "Let's roll!" She grabs the poor guy by the arm, probably pulling it partway out of the socket in her enthusiasm.

kwikkidus: "Once we were done... we're rivals again. And Meso's free now, isn't he?"

Polk Kitsune: "... Great. I get to deal with Jin von Karma now..." With a grumble, he grabbed Jin, and lifted him up, carrying him off.
kwikkidus: "...Mmm." A nod from him as well. "Rival! It's business as usual!"

Sinisquirrel: "Hey, I say we dress 'im up like Madonna and take pictures before we're done!" The girl in yellow says, following after Casey.

Polk Kitsune: "Afterwards... The internet!"

Sinisquirrel: "Teeheehee!" Their voices begin to trail off, but one can hear Ren's voice singing. "The internet is for porn!"

Sinisquirrel: "So Meso can sleep there, and Melissa can sleep in my room!"
Sinisquirrel: "If that pleases everyone." A glare all around.

kwikkidus: "To the dorm!" Ed points that way, and heads off.
